The Virtua Wound Center, located on the campus of Virtua Voorhees in South Jersey, provides comprehensive wound care and prevention services in a comfortable outpatient facility. The Center is staffed with experts devoted exclusively to wound healing therapies and treatments. The Wound Center offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which allows patients to breathe in a greater amount of pure oxygen than they normally would. Oxygen helps to improve blood supply, which generates healthy tissue. In turn, the healthy tissue supports faster, deeper wound healing.
