Kanad Mukherjee, DO

Kanad Mukherjee, DO, CAQSM, is a double board-certified physician in both family and sports medicine who wants his patients’ physical and mental health optimized so they can live their lives to the fullest. A native of South Jersey, Dr. Mukherjee earned his medical degree and completed his internship and family medicine residency at the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the Drexel University College of Medicine. During fellowship, he cared for athletes ranging from NCAA competitors at Drexel University, Temple University, Chestnut Hill College, and Lincoln University to high school athletes across Greater Philadelphia and recreational athletes striving to stay active and perform at their best. His clinical focus is on sports medicine, including nonoperative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, injury prevention, exercise as medicine, and concussion management. He currently serves as a team physician for Collingswood, Overbrook, and Wildwood high schools’ football teams. Dr. Mukherjee teaches in Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine's preclinical courses and is passionate about addressing health equities on a population level. Patients consistently praise Dr. Mukherjee for his exceptional bedside manner, attentive listening, and clear communication.
