The doctors were generally very nice, but the staff member who helped me make the appointment was rude and seemed to look down on us because of our poor English. Overall, the people here seemed to have fewer smiles.

I called the day after my procedure to ask a few questions. Instead of allowing me to speak to Dr. Shah or a nurse, I was told to go to the ER. My symptoms were not extreme nor urgent but whoever answered was rushed, rude & dismissive. I repeated "go to the ER?" She said yes & hung up. Shocking! Every single person from Dr. Shah down to the wonderful intake woman & the two young girls taking my medical information & the schedulers were absolutely fantastic. Kind, informative, knowledgeable & welcoming. This after-care experience was upsetting. It was not an emergency & I just needed confirmation that certain after procedure symptoms I was having were not worrisome. Waiting in an ER for hours to be seen and/or reassured that I was ok as my symptoms were not unusual (tho not listed as cause for concern) was not where I needed to be. Nor did I feel well enough to leave my home. I called & was able to see my primary Dr a few hours later who then fully examined me, acknowledged my concerns & understood them. I'm a new patient with no knowledge or experience with any of these medical issues. It may be common or second nature to your team, but not to me. I expected understanding & compassion, kindness & minimal info & acknowledgement concerning a new procedure done the prior day. None of it was given as I was dismissed & sent elsewhere. FYI: The experience at Advanced Surgical was top notch. All the nurses went above & beyond. Dr. Shah was wonderful.

The doctor did a great job providing him with updated medical information since I hadn't been there in a few years. It was my first visit with him. I was very impressed. I think he did a great job going through the history and I'm looking for a forward action plan.

I had a wonderful experience. It's always nice when a doctor actually takes the time to verse themselves with your history and speak in depth about concerns. I am very satisfied with my "bedside care."

Disappointed that this facility at Virtua does not offer a way of servicing people who cannot get to a surgical procedure when they are alone and are not permitted to get an Uber. Because of this I had to cancel a procedure.

The staff of Virtua Gastroenterology was kind, courteous and very professional on my first visit. I was in and out with referrals to get a CAT scan, Lab work and my script was sent to my pharmacy. Above all, I was very pleased. Thank you.

Dr. Ninhit Shah is my G.I dr and he and his stafff are truly professionals. Your promptly greeted and your information is taken you pay your co-pay if necessary asked to have a seat. Your wait time is never more than five minutes and then they take you back to the office do your vital sign. Dr. Shah comes in and he greets you so warmly. After reviewing your physical exam and discussing any recommendations such as x-ray studies procedures he sent you in to see his scheduling secretary. Everything is done so professionally and promptly the office is clean bright and quiet. It's just a warm lovely place to visit all of my doctors at Virtua or but I especially Just want to point out the kindness of Dr. Shah and highly recommend him for any G.I. needs. [REDACTED]

Your virtual hospital staff was very well, very in depth with their explanations, their history of me and all their practices.

Getting quicker appointments would be nice.

He can improve by letting me know that he was sending a prescription for me. I had no idea he was sending a prescription. The next thing I know, my pharmacy was saying they had a prescription.

After my appointment, the girl scheduling my procedure was very helpful and pleasant. I did not feel rushed at my appointment and felt very at ease.

This doctor was my second opinion and he doesn't have an answer either. different tests & same test come up with different answers from two different doctors makes no sense to me. When my second opinion dr tells me maybe I need another opinion makes think nobody in medical field is not doing their jobs

The doctor didn't sign my medical documents.. and now I'm probably gonna be fired from my job. I don't know what I'm gonna do... It took me year's to find a good job. Thee economy is a wreck, inflation... And I'm dealing with my stomach issues... Life is terrible.

Dr is excellent but the front desk person was not warm at all. She gave me bunch of papers but didn't explain them nicely and when I asked some questions, she was little agitated. So I didn't feel comfortable to ask further questions which was in my mind. She is an African American lady. Please don't let her know my comments as I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Thanks.

I was VERY impressed with the schedular who took my initial call. He was sincere, empathetic, kind, and actively listened to my issues. He was able to get me a same day appointment. I wish I could remember his name, he deserves a "kudos"!! Dr Shah and his team were very accommodating, even getting me in earlier than my scheduled appointment, and REALLY listened to my concerns and got my procedures scheduled within 30 days, where as I was 90 out still at Inspira. Dr Shah will now be my new gastroenterologist, and i have already recommended him to friends and family. The office is further from my work or home than ive ever traveled for a dr, but I will do it EVERY time, to be able to receive this outstanding care.
