When mom was in a short term rehab facility I asked Mom's nurse if she knew of any good family doctors as I was in need of one. She recommended Dr Zuniga. Let me tell you that she is simply the best. A happy, infectious personality; she completely puts you at ease. But I also found she walks through that door knowing your medical history with a game plan in mind to recommend changes where warranted. Dr Zuniga is fully aware of your prescription history & can discuss with you any side effects an OTC drug you are taking may interfere with your prescription protocol. You leave her office grateful in having her as your doctor! :-) I cannot recommend Dr Zuniga higher enough. She is an amazing asset to the Virtua staff!

Dr. Z treated my husband with such kindness and concern before becoming my primary. As a registered nurse 40 years of experience l know excellence. During registration I was alerted to an expired driving license. I was also given so information on how to secure quickly without feel ashamed. Had to cancel the appointment I had set for 12 months due to work. The next available on this app was 9 months away. When I called I got a cancelation so that worked out but appointments are hard to come by here

I needed to see a doctor as soon as possible. My primary was not available for three weeks. The triage nurses were very helpful. They listened to my symptoms and were able to get me an appointment the next day.

Wait times are always a concern, a call to the patients would be nice so we aren't wasting our time sitting there

I mean, I guess one thing I really appreciated was that when I got my blood work done, I happened to offhandedly mention that I never like needles, so I never like getting shots, and I especially don't like getting blood work. And in response to that, while she was giving me my blood work, she engaged me in conversation, and I thought that was really cool that she considered what I had said just offhandedly like that.

Dr. Zuniga is a trusted and knowledgeable Doctor. I value and trust her greatly. My only issue is scheduling appointments to see her. If something comes up that requires a visit, I'm never able to see her...only who's available. Most likely they are unfamiliar with me and my medical history therefore I'm less likely to feel heard and understood. I only get to see Dr. Zuniga possibly twice annually.

I think the wait time for an appointment is too long. I took a televisit in order to speak to my Dr. The day of this appt. I made a follow up in person visit and it was 5 months! Way too long. I adore my dr and appreciate her caring and professionalism.

It was disappointing that after being given a diagnosis there was no proactive discussion initiated by the provider informing me of what to expect. I had to ask things such as ' what symptoms should aI expect?' ' What medications are available and how safe are they?' I don't think I would have gotten information had I not asked. The doctor seemed in a hurry to get to her next appointment. I don't think a patient should have to go to Google for information a doctor is supposed to provide.

Dr. Zuniga has been my primary care physician for several years. She knows me very well and I feel in excellent hands under her care. Her staff is always extremely helpful and professional.

I absolutely love Dr. Zuniga. She is extremely thorough, very personable, a wonderful bedside manner, and clinically just top-notch, really works through what you're experiencing. My only issue is that although I can schedule an appointment pretty quickly, it takes months to actually get an appointment confirmed, like booked. If I were to call today and make an appointment, I wouldn't be able to see Dr. Zuniga for the next three months or so. That, that is really my only concern. The office, I think does a good job of trying to fit you in with urgencies and whatnot. But, uh, this past year I had a hospital stay, um, uh, pneumonia and whatnot, and I couldn't get into see Dr. Zuniga the same week that I was seeing for emergency care. So it's, it's, it's just the things like that, but otherwise she is ACEs. I just wish that I could get faster or sooner rather appointment scheduling is easy. It's just.

Dr Zuniga is an excellent doctor and she really care about are patients I'm lucky to have her.

In love Dr Zuniga!!! She is the entire reason I have stayed with Virtua for my primary care. The only consistent complaint I have is how long it takes to get an appointment when I want one. That's not her fault at all! I adore her and look forward to every appointment. She started caring for my adult daughter and my husband has his first appointment coming up!!
