Dr Gabler and his entire staff are always warm, friendly and personable. I feel welcome and comfortable during my entire visit.

Technician who gave ekg and pre exam update seemed annoyed when asked questions and answered with an attitude that expressed a don't bother me attitude. On the other hand. Dr Gabler answered all questions professionally, mutually developed ongoing goals and had a full and comprehensive understanding of my medical history

Dr. Gabler is an exceptionally well-balanced physician. He is personal, authoritative and very consultative. In industry, I worked with cardiologists who forget there's a patient wrapped around that heart. For example, we reviewed my recent labs and he was NOT happy about my recent cholesterol levels. We talked at length about my Hx and decided a retest was in order, as well as some imaging studies. Perhaps I missed a Praluent dose BUT I try hard to be 100% compliant. I guess I'm getting WAY old now. Anyway, he went over EVERYTHING completely, in perfectly understandable language. So, today, my wife and I were in my favorite diner and Labcorp's results came in. Dr. Gabler was correct, all my CMP values were completely normal now. SO, PTLCR (Prior To Lab Corp Results), I was going to order a plain omelette, fried with oil, not butter. STLCR (Subsequent To Lab Corp Results) I WENT ALL THE WAY and added scrapple to my brunch. LOOK HERE, by the time he sees another CMP result, the scrapple will be a distant memory, I had an ultrasound of my carotids recently and they are REMARKABLY clear for such an old guy, etc., etc. I got this. I will not refer much to my grandmother's whitefish salad recipe which I asked my wife to prepare. The fish is still in the Wegman's wrapper so I have time to decide. No shmear, I promise. It MAY NOT be useful to show him this on a bad day. I would wait for a good day, if I were you. I cannot sign off without giving cudos to his Voorhees office staff AND to the EP crew. They are always helpful, polite, get back to me RIGHT away with answers to questions and seem to be highly immune to the good natured ribbing I give them at every possible moment. I am quite sure that I am no "DAY AT THE BEACH" as far as being a patient but these frontline people ARE the practice for the majority of my time and they do a very commendable job. Even with me. OK, I'm done with this novella.

I interacted with three people at the practice, the receptionist who checked me in, the technician who conducted my EKG and took my vitals, and of course, Dr. Gabler. Everyone in the office treated me like I was special. I couldn't ask for nicer people. But this is the most important point. I met Dr. Gabler about 10 years ago. At that time, I continued to have Afib incidents. Not only have I not had one in more than 6 years, I am most definitely much healthier today than I was 10 years ago. Dr. Gabler deserves the lion's share of the credit for that. Under his care, my quality of life, for my age, is great!

The front Desk staff is not very friendly and kind. They have an attitude that does not match with provider. People need a job but you can't put people to greet you and welcome you that are so cold and disconnected to public manners.

My experience with Dr. Gabler was excellent. He really did take the time to talk to me and I was very, very happy to have met him and to move forward with him as my cardiologist. It's been a bit confusing for me afterwards with the testing that was ordered because the front desk told me to order my own calcium ultrasound and then you folks ordered it and it was declined and it was very confusing to me because it made me confused to think that my stress test was declined. So I just didn't really feel like the supporting person at the desk was very helpful and seemed very bored to even be working with me. Thank you. Bye-bye.

A minor negative was the nurse that took my vital signs. Allowing the pt. in conversation to decrees anxiety is what I always did as a nurse. This nurse did her job but was like an Iceberg in personality. Even a smile or friendly greeting would be better. What a difference when Dr. Gabler entered the room! Professional, efficient, and warm, he even remembered me from 3 yrs ago!
