Dr josephson is great. The Virtua scheduling system is not. When I've had an urgent reason to see my primary care physician do to an illness the system responds that the soonest appt is 2 weeks away. What's the sense of having a "Primary Care Physician" when you can't get to see them timely? I end up going to urgent care because I can't get in to see my primary and have to pay a higher copay at urgent care. The phone system reroutes your call and is very frustrating.

Efficient but personal

I went to my primary's office to get an order for a urinalysis for a uti. I've never needed an appointment before for lab work. He wasn't there. I had to wait over an hour to see another doctor. I'd like to know why this happened? Most requests for a Rx for a uti can be taken care of over the phone! Almost every dealing with Virtua is a problem lately. You need to concentrate on helping patients have a better experience. I've been considering going back to Cooper because of this.

I had to go in for an EKG. Normally when you have to get undressed the staff steps out and reenters once they knock on door. Not only did she not leave, she watched me undress-didn't even turn around. Afterwards when I had to take gown off and redress she stood there watching AND moved over to pick up my bra and hand it to me while still watching! Extremely unnerving. NEVER has that happened to me before!

Prescription medicine advertising should not be in a treatment room ever. It's bad enough there are commercials on tv. A treatment room is no place for an interactive, video prescription advertisement! Do better Virtua!

This was a rescheduled office visit due to the traffic and construction occurring on Rte70. I gave Dr. Josephson an update on my health status, recurring blood pressure elevations and my office visit with the rheumatologist. Again, I shared that my blood sugar level was elevated and I was in need of therapy for the emergence of arthritis in my back. The therapy referral form had been misread by me and Dr. Josephson explained the form & process to me. She did not act on the issue of elevated blood sugar levels.

Your front staff are rude and should try and more polite. This is only you people that are in the front and take your information. The nurses and the doctor are always 100% polite and courteous.

Not realizing that she did not have her information in her hand, she must've asked for help. At that point, the girl checking her in, got up and came over to her. She should've done that the first time.

I have been seeing Dr Josephson for many years now. I am a visually impaired adult who always feels extra special when I visit the virtual office. The staff, Dr Josephson, and the members of our team always make me feel special, guiding me where I need to go ensuring that I get to the right location. I don't think I've ever been in facility that makes me feel special as virtual and Dr Josephson does.
