The caregiver was phenomenal. The doctor not only explained everything, he also recommended things and he was able to tell my diagnosis within seconds. He knew what he had to do. It was right from the very beginning of the examination. He just, he was really good at his position and his knowledge and education. The staff was just as good. They spoke to you like humans. They interacted and their communication was just off the charts. I will recommend this office to anybody. One of the greatest parts about it is that the wait time is very limited. It's like you don't have to wait long at all. They guide you with whatever they need help with and they give you time to do things. They don't rush you. They don't over search you with questions. So I would highly recommend it.

I would love to be able to call the office directly. Since the phone system is not great, I drive over to the office and make my appointment - not too convenient.

Dr. Perl is amazing. The office staff is great. Monday morning my knee was hurting and I could hardly walk. They gave me an afternoon appointment and Dr. Perl gave me an injection and I had relief immediately.

Dr Perl was the worst. He is inexperienced and was actually texting with another doctor about my case. Then he told me that he had never seen a case like mine and that he wasn't 60. Meaning he had not seen many cases. I was in there 3 hours... needed a knee brace but no one could figure out how to put it on. So with 2 fractured knees, I have to go back tomorrow when the only person who knows will be there. I actually called customer relations when I arrived home but no one called me back. The check out lady had no people skills and treated me like I was a child. I will not be going back to Dr Perl. I made an appointment with [REDACTED] for next Monday. Before Virtua took over the office had experienced, kind and knowledgeable doctors. Now it is horrible.

That's the second doctor that I've been to. I used to live in Washington Township. They were okay compared to this new office. The doctor, the nurses, the people that are working, they're phenomenal. Please don't ever get rid of them. Unbelievable. Thank you very much.

I am, excuse me, I am a healthcare provider, retired myself, and I truly appreciate the care that I received through Dr. Perl and his staff. I was given an appointment quite quickly, only here for another week or two, and then we returned to Florida. He also, they were able to get the authorization for sentence, which I had today. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all their hard work, their expertise, their professionalism, greatly appreciated. Okay, thank you.

It was very pleasant. From the girls at the front desk to Dr. Perl as soon as he greeted me. He was very professional and actually seemed to care about getting me better. He was thorough and involved. I will be back and have told other about him.

Good first visit

Dr Perl is the best! Smart, caring, he makes you feel safe. [REDACTED] was his assistant and she was so wonderful. I had a PRP injection and after it was over Dr Perl told me I did great, because of him and [REDACTED], I did great!! Thank you Dr. Perl!

I hope that there would be a number where I could reach my doctor once I started treatment. I have not been able to do that for two days and I need a refill on my prescription and I also need to speak to Dr. Perl to find out if I am doing what I'm supposed to be doing correctly before I see him again. From booking the appointment to the front desk to the nurse, tech, and doctor, every single member of the staff was lovely - warm, personal interacts and questions, and spent time, didn't act rushed or like human bots. It struck me how rare that is in this day and age. Bravo to this office and to Dr. Perl.

Terrible call center. Waited 2 hours for a call back. Then was told dr Perl did not see patients with foot pain. Was booked an appt with the PA instead. In the meantime due to the long call back wait made another appt with another practice. Decided to take the appt with PA simply to get an exray of my foot. Upon arrival was told I was seeing Dr Perl and not the PA. Discussed this situation with Dr Perl and made him aware I was told by the call center I couldn't see him. I'm a former patient of this practice. Always could make an immediate appt with a live person. I absolutely hate your system. The office staff said all the patients are complaining about the call center and long return wait time. I have decided after this incident I will continue with the second practice I booked an appt with.

Nothing other than physician was very knowledgeable and thorough

Overall, the experience was great. The medical staff and staff were extremely helpful, caring and went above and beyond the call of duty. I would recommend going to see these guys if you were hurt.

Dr. Perl and his team are exceptional.

Dr. Perl and the people in the office were excellent. However, Virtua as an organization needs a lot to be desired. There's no efficient system when I called the schedule because I ended up with Virtua and not locally. It took me half an hour to make an appointment, which is ridiculous. I was able to make the appointment for very soon after, but this is really ridiculous. And this meeting was to discuss results from an MRI I waited a full week after getting the results myself to call and make this appointment, figuring that the office would call me when they were ready and when they had those results in. But they didn't, because that's not the way it works there. Instead, I had to call. So I think you need to look at those practices. One of the advantages of having a huge conglomerate is you have access to lots of different resources. But if you don't have your act together, if you don't have your communication effective,

I'm so glad I saw Dr. Perl about my knee problem. Starting with the office staff everyone was so pleasant to deal with, and Dr. Perl explained in detail everything about my xrays and his plan for working with my knee. Also a good praise for Virtua, very efficient in all they do, they make it easier to deal with my other doctor visits.

Real pain in the butt to get an appointment

Dr. Perl was very concerned about my situation and treated me with kindness and professionalism. Even though it was the first time I had visited with him, I would like to make him my permanent doctor going forward.

Not so happy with them

Called to make appointment- was on hold over 1.5 hrs -I hung up! that is unacceptable. No on should wait more the 3 minutes To get their call answered for an appointment. Then when I finally got thru hrs laters and 3 try's- only to be told first appointment is mid July. I tripped and hurt my foot, so I had to get upset and demand an appointment. Healthcare in the USA absolutely stinks since Obama care took over. Sometimes new and better is not better. Answer the phone with live people, because it's a person who needs an appointment on the other end in need of some sort of medical treatment- Have compassion for the patients- after all without them , where would you be. Wouldn't you rather have a happy patient from the start then a very un satisfied patient who carries that terrible experience into your office- like I did. Terrible approach you have towards your patients. Appointment was made wrong after all that , but the office did accommodate me. The doctor was very good. I truly hope that this is read

Dr. Perl is an excellent physician, very helpful, very knowledgeable, great to have him in place of the previous doctor that was there, who's also a great doctor, and it's wonderful that we found someone as wonderful as Dr. Zuck has been over the years. But Dr. Perl is just doing fantastic, and I am thrilled that I'm able to get treatment from him. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you.

Everything about the Somers Point office with Dr. Perl and his staff is truly exceptional-friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. The quality of care and attention to detail they provide is outstanding, and I felt my daughter was well taken care of during her visit. My only concern is with the phone system which has nothing to do with the Somers Point office and their staff. It is the VIRTUA system...Reaching the office by phone has been extremely frustrating. The VIRTUA phone tree is confusing, there's no clear option to leave a message, and I've often had to wait hours just to speak with someone or to receive a call back-sometimes only to be redirected again. It makes what should be a simple process feel unnecessarily difficult. Improving the phone system or offering a more user-friendly way to reach the office would greatly enhance an otherwise excellent experience.

I received excellent care from all the medical staff, including Dr. Perl, who is very professional in his field and treated me very kindly.
