Dr Urkowitz listened to my medical issues and referred me to appropriate medical professionals for further evaluations.

I am really upset about the phone system at Virtua. It is difficult to get a message to your doctor. It is difficult to cancel an appointment, even using MyChart. It is difficult to get any kind of response when you have a problem. It is the worst system I have ever, ever dealt with.

YES, I would like to recommend this Doctor however he only works. I think two days a week so it's very hard to get an appointment. And you have another provider who's older and I think he's a little too old to be providing care I did see him once. One time to get clearance for surgery I saw a young woman. She was a young doctor, but very thorough and very good. I would say that you need to hire at least two more physicians to cover your practice.

I really like the doctor a few years ago went I went to him for an issue I was have. He listened and took time to discuss options and testing. I have been seeing Dr. Urkowitz for many years. I trust his medical advice.

I have been a patient of Alan Urkowitz, D.O. for over 35 years. Previously he had his own private practice. Now at Virtua, he only sees patients 3 days a week. In the past I've trusted his medical care. He always listens to my questions but in the last year or so his responses are more dismissive. He is less likely to discuss my concerns. Recently it feels he is checking off boxes on my chart. Does he realize how long he's been my primary care physician? Perhaps he is close to retirement. I wonder if I need to find a new primary doctor.

The entire staff was completely organized. I was picked up in five minutes to go to doctor's office. My blood pressure was taken, then he came in and rechecked it, and it was just a really good visit. I can't say more, any better about the entire staff.
