Wait time was long. Sent message immediately after visit and it is now 4 days and have not gotten response. Medication ordered required insurance company approval and now 4 days later have still not gotten confirmation

The appointment seemed rushed. Only when specific questions about lab work and medications were asked, did the provider sit back down to discuss. No physical exam was performed, even though GI symptoms had been present for 6 weeks.

Yes, my appointment was for 2:30, but they asked us to arrive at 2:15, which I did. I was never seen until 3:30. I sat there and waited because the provider was running behind schedule.

I really feel my concerns weren't listened to. I came in for hemorrhoids and was just told to take some fiber and a stool softener. I mean, I could have done that with ChatGPT.

Oh, really well. My records were there from the state I moved from. She knew the history. She was a PA and knew what the doctor wanted or said that would be good for me. And it was great. Everybody's nice and friendly. We're walking in to setting up the appointment for six months in six months from now. So it was awesome. I love it. And it was quick in and out and not a long wait time for the doctor either.

Everything was great however. My questions didn't require an appt. It could have easily been done over the phone. So I paid for an appt that I really didn't need.

My service at Virtua has always been great. I'm very upset that you guys are taking away the infusion center. They were always good. I've been going there for 25 years and getting infusions for 19. Your infusion nurses are unbelievable. And it's a shame that you guys are cutting that program. Thank you.

I don't think medication should be suggested before there's a full diagnosis. We have not completed trying Linzess. Otherwise she was thoroughly clear and organized

I was impressed w the professionalism, personality and care that I received from Dr. Miller and the staff at Virtua.

It was noted in my chart a physical exam was done. It was not I was not even touched yet in my chart visit note stated normal exam of abdomen no distention yet that's the reason I was there upper left quadrant pain with bloating , I did send a chart message to np and she responded quickly and stated she would note it . Proper documentation is key

Alison was prepared and confident when she came in the room. We engaged in a back and forth discussion of my situation and she asked appropriate follow up questions to my answers. She suggested an endoscopy before I had a chance to bring it up. Very impressive.

As soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted warmly by staff and directed to the Intake person. I know sooner sat down when I was called to go back into the office to a patient room by the medical assistant. He was very thorough and listened intently as he documented. The APN was very thorough and treated me with respect, kindness, and she was well aware of my patient history. She was coming up with a new plan for me and included me in the decision that we made after she educated me thoroughly. Additionally, she was going to speak to my physician to have her weigh in and to make sure we are making the right choice. I was very impressed by her.

Outstanding experience!

Alison Miller entered the room where I was waiting 45 minutes after my appt. was scheduled. 15 minutes into my appt., I heard her call a patient and indicate she was returning that patient's call. Half hour into my appt. when she still was not there I went into the hall and was told she'd be there shortly. After 45 minutes, she entered the room where I was waiting for her and asked how I was. When I didn't respond immediately, she rudely approached me and said, "I asked you how you feel?" When I responded that I was not feeling well as I was in a lot of pain she responded in a snippy manner. At this point, I wanted to leave, but needed her to give me some direction in regard to an ER visit which was what I was trying to avoid. She asked me pointed questions that appeared to be to fill out HER requirements to complete notes and the summary of my visit and did not fully address my concerns for the visit. I turned to her and decided that I would talk to her as if she were one of my ED students to get her to speak to me in a more polite and professional manner...I apologized to her for my demeanor as I was in a lot of pain. It worked, and she told me that I didn't need to apologize. I did get the needed referral for a colonoscopy and endoscopy, so that was a good end result. However, I felt that she only was there to fulfill her job requirements.

Alison was very professional, very thorough, very caring, and has checked in on me with new information from diet to going over my x-rays twice, in fact, and I really appreciate it.

This provider was supposed to confer with my physician, Dr. Velasco, regarding my plan of care. I never heard back, and she seemed to be very disinterested in my medical care.

Alison Miller is very smart, very attentive, and very well informed. He was very helpful in getting me through a very unpleasant week. However, the staff at the hospital and or gastro center was less than expected. I got to run around often. I tried to get a telehealth visit. I made the telehealth visit. They canceled me, had me on hold for an hour, and then just disappeared into the night. So for Alison, she was outstanding. For the rest of the crew, five would be very generous.

The only thing that I would ask in the future is for drugs that have to be, or prescriptions that need to be approved, if the doctor could just automatically send those over to the pharmacist without me having to call the doctor and keep going back and forth. Other than that, everything else was wonderful. Thank you.

Well, I was told to call because I had to get my prescription renewed and they would not renew it unless I came in. I needed to see the doctor. The last time I was there was a year ago and I did not get to see the doctor. But this time the doctor was still not available. So I got to see the nurse practitioner again. So the availability for the doctor is not there. The nurse practitioner was very good. Allison Miller was very good. However, they wanted me to see the doctor, and again, I didn't get in to see the doctor. You need to make an appointment, and you've got to make an appointment. Even though you're sick and you need a doctor, you've got to wait six months to see a doctor. So that's my feedback. And that seems to be with every virtual doctor.

I was able to be seen in a timely manner and even though I was new to Alison, she knew my medical history and was very helpful.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice. The nurse was wonderful and helpful.

I was very pleased, as they took me back to be seen within 5 mins from my appt time. And, I was done my appt within 20 mins. The day prior, I was at a doctor appt with my gyno and they didn't see me until an hour and 10 mins past my appt time, so I was very displeased with that doctor appt. Your office is great!

Provider did not know any relevant information pertaining to this field of medicine. I was told they did not know how to help me or provide any possible treatment options aside from doubling all of my current medications. This appointment was a waste of time and I was disappointed with the lack of knowledge this provider has while gastroenterology is supposed to be their area of expertise.

I really liked Alison. I thought she was very thorough and caring. So that's it. I really enjoyed having her, meeting her. All right, bye-bye.

It took me 3 years to get an appointment and then I could only see a pa who in turn got me an appointment with the physician. I love Dr [REDACTED] but the pa was not up to par at all. A useless visit. The med tech was very kind and respectful.

Friendly and professional staff

This appointment was my first time meeting Alison and I was very impressed with her. She was pleasant, up-to-date on the details of my recent hospital stay, and we both agreed on the course of action going forward. It was a very good visit.

Although it took me a long time to get an appointment, I'm glad that I saw this provider because I was able to get into the schedule quickly and I just had my colonoscopy today and they found two piles that they were able to successfully remove. So I'm very happy with the service.

Yes, when I finally got the appointment with Alison, she was a big help. I was not at all happy with the portals and the messages that I had been sending from Tuesday through Friday morning and the responses that I got. I did tell Alison and let her know that and she was able to help me. But a patient should not have to go through that. I'm very disappointed with this.
