I got an appointment in a timely manner and I like the doctor very much. He explained to me how to care for my arthritis and what medications are available to relieve pain. I felt better after my visit because I can use certain medications for relief safely.

You can improve by not telling a patient to scream or bother your other patients by screaming. If you're doing a procedure that you know is painful, then it shouldn't be a surprise to you that the patient complains of pain.

Dr. Loccisano respected the fact that my anxiety is the biggest hindrance to my rehabilitation. He was stern and respectful in pushing me to do things, yet would allow me to find solace in my husband's assurances. I truly appreciate how the Dr didn't chastise me for behaving like a spoiled brat (I would have deserved it) rather treated me with the upmost respect. He even went so far as to explain and show me how medically my knee really was okay. Even after that he still provided me with resources to calm my anxiety but are not a medical necessity.

Hello, I'm very happy with the quality of care I received and how quickly I was to get my appointment. So I think for the first question, I might have accidentally hit two instead of four. But everyone was professional. Everything was done quickly. I was, again, everything was great. I wouldn't change anything. I was promptly followed up by the PT company. Just stellar service. I love coming here. It's nice and clean, front desk is always very friendly and never keep you standing there waiting to be checked in, assistant that b walked me back was very friendly. I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room or in the room. The Dr came in within 5 min. He was extremely pleasant, explained what he was doing, and took time to answer my questions. The physician was very good. He listened to me. He was realistic and he gave me a very good treatment plan. I've had a negative experience with another physician in the same practice and did not want to return. But after seeing him, I would definitely go back and see him again.

I was very impressed with ALL STAFF members from the receptionist , to the X Ray tech to the MD and the check out girl. Everyone was so professional and on top of things. Gave me lots of confidence. What a well oiled wheel!! Will definitely continue with this team in Medford. So convenient too since I reside in Medford.

This was my first appointment with this doctor. My regular doctor referred me to him because he was going to be unavailable for a few weeks and I needed immediate help. I was very happy with my care. They are very prompt. Front of the house wasn't all that pleasant but the doctor ans radiologist made up for it. All and all, a sold experience.

I wasn't asked if I needed a renewal but had told the medical assistant that I did. I left there without this. I did not see any one wash hands prior or after the procedure.

I was treated so well by everyone. It was a very good experience. Already recommended you to some of my friends. I felt very comfortable.

I saw the doctor on 4 June, and he was not expecting my arm to be swollen like it was. He walked in and said that is not tennis elbow. He recommended wrist brace. I feel he should have at least been setting me up for what took till 16 September. The doctor was not comfortable enough with taking synovial fluid out and steroid in and called another doctor to do the procedure. Second doctor was great.

I hope I say his name right. He's very pleasant, very gentle, and I trust him with my care.

Dr. L (I can't remember the spelling), is very personable and recalled my first visit over a year ago. He did updated X-rays and we spoke about relieving the pain in my knee. I ultimately decided to get the Cortisone shot and I'm glad because my knee had quite a bit of fluid that he was able to drain. It's been a couple of days and my knee feels much better. All of the office staff were great and I will definitely recommend others to this Orthopedic group. Thank you!

The process of making an appointment is awful. You cannot call the office directly, but are put into a queue to wait for a navigator. The first day I tried to make an appointment I opted for a call back since I was # 45 in the queue. I never got that call back. Tried to schedule an appointment the following day. I was # 11 in the queue so I decided to wait. After 35 minutes on hold a navigator answered my call and assisted me in a professional manner in making an appointment. (I am retired so I could sit for 35 minutes waiting for the call back. Had I still been employed the process of making an appointment would have been that much worse. ) I think the problems I had could be alleviated by either being able to make an appointment on the portal or allowing for direct access to the center where your doctor works. Funneling everyone into a call center is probably the least efficient way to make an appointment.

The doctor assistant that I saw was very friendly, asked me questions and then gave me the instructions of what to do for my leg. He gave me a list of exercises to do. He was very nice and good.

I had a wonderful experience. I arrived early and the x-ray tech came right away to x-ray my arm and brought me back to the waiting room stating there is no rooms available for my particular doctor. Needless to say I still had 10 minutes until my appointment was supposed to start. The nurse came and got me and brought me to the room five minutes before my actual appointment time and the doctor saw me right away. thank you.

Called at 12pm and had an appointment at 1:30. I was directed to the wrong location but when arriving at the correct location a couple minutes late I was almost immediately brought back to start the exam. I was in and out within 20 minutes and Dr L brought me great peace of mind

The receptionists were very polite and knowledgeable. And I didn't have to wait too long, and sometimes you have to. And the x-ray technicians were very, very swift, I'll say. They were pretty fast at what they were doing. And the doctor was a good listener. He explained it to me. I was a bit hesitant on getting the cortisone shot in my knee. due to a little worrisome and I didn't watch because I don't like needles. And there has been... It is better. And he said, you know, give it three months and then we'll see and we'll keep an eye out on it. It is bending better. There is better, but I am still having pain. On the right side,

After my procedure, the swelling in the bursa sac reappeared within a few days, and I need to make a follow-up appointment to see if I can get my elbow redrained. I'll be making an appointment hopefully within the next day. Everything else was great as far as the care, but unfortunately, the condition didn't return within a couple days.

The only negative aspect of my treatment so far was the extremely long wait I had on the phone to talk to a navigator. I was given the option to have you call me back, but honestly that isn't a very good option for people who have obligations. It doesn't help for you to call me back if I'm in a meeting. or with another professional. I need to talk to you within a reasonable time of my call. In this case I waited almost 40 minutes. But the woman whom I eventually talked to was very kind and helpful.

The location was the best part for me. I didn't realize that office was so close to my home.

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE HAD A BETTER EXAMINATION TO TRY AND GET TO THE BOTTOM OF WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY BACK. I ONLY WENT THERE AS IT WAS DIRECTED BY THE VIRTUA ER AS A FOLLOW UP AND GET MORE TESTING WHICH NEVER OCCURED.

It took me 2 weeks and over 8 hours on the phone (5 separate phone calls over the 2 weeks) in order to get an appointment. I spent 1-2 hours on hold with each call waiting to speak to someone. I tried the "call back" feature over 2 weeks ago and am YET to receive that call back. I tried emailing the Virtua navigators who promptly called and stated that they were unable to schedule appointments for Virtua reconstructive orthopedic office. I tried scheduling through MyChart which was also unsuccessful. It is completely unacceptable to spend 8 hours on the phone to obtain an appointment. When I finally got through to an operator, the call dropped. Thankfully, she had my name and profile up on her computer and was able to call me back. She said she'd been working overtime to keep up with the calls. Again, completely unacceptable for an organization that is the size of Virtua. I manage an healthcare operation and we've called in support from other locations or departments as needed and have NEVER encountered something like this. You must fix the hold time.

I appreciate the fact that they don't take aggressive steps first and try less invasive solutions to a problem. All of my concerns are addressed and decisions for my care are discussed. My husband had hip replacement with fabulous outcome and I've had shoulder issues that have been addressed. My son-in-law had back surgery and it has given him a new lease on life so I can't praise them enough. This is the best group that I've ever known.
