Dr Velasco is the BEST

Dr Velasco is wonderful. She is so knowledgeable and she always has great ideas to help me with good care.

The address of 502 Centennial is misleading. It wasn't till I had a savvy helper that I found out that 502 was the address of the PO as well as the address of a Medical building, and office #03 was on the premises of the medical building,

My last colonoscopy was three years ago. Dr, Velasco and staff did a great job.

DOCTOR BRENDA VELASCO IS VERY EFFICIENT WITH HER EXAM AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD

Dr Velasco is quite intuitive and has great knowledge of how medicines work in your system, even the medicines that she does not prescribe.

Very well treated. Could not give a 5 star rating for recommending this group to my family because of the distance from home. The reason I chose to go to Voorhees was because I thought the procedure would be performed in a hospital; and I prefer Virtua Voorhees to Virtua Memorial.

It was a great visit, and everyone was in such a good mood. Very pleasant visit. So happy Dr. Velasco had available appointments!

Dr. Velasco is very thorough in reviewing all of my health history, and in communicating treatment options. She and her staff are very efficient in getting me in and out in consideration of my time constraints. Dr. Velasco is pleasant and cordial, as is all of her staff.

Dr. Brenda is amazing ... kind, patient, a great communicator, knowledgeable and someone I trust for my care. I am now her patient because so many people in my family very, very highly recommended her. She was just how they described her.

Dr. Brenda is an Earth Angel. She listens answers all questions, works together involving me in the medical decesions. The last year I was very ill. I lost three of my dogs in a short period of time The grief was so overwhelming it definately effected my crohns..Dr. Brenda was so sweet kind understanding. She did not let one thing slip by. My gut was a mess and she worked with me and kept a close eye on me. I just love Dr Brenda. She is a good doctor knows her stuff, and I feel very comfortable under her care. I am finally getting my system back on track because of Dr. Brendas care.

Dr. V at prior appt. several years ago suggested that I see her 1 year later. When I called then not able to schedule. This appt. was screen for colonoscopy so easily scheduled. I have follow up in 3 months and able to schedule before I left her office.

I truly appreciate Dr Velasco, she has always been very helpful and understanding of my health issues. She is an excellent physician and truly cares about her patients. I have great respect and trust her completely. She isan asset to the VIRTUA system. ?

When I checked in, I couldn't hear what I was being asked because the other 2 girls at the reception desk were chit-chatting loudly about their holiday plans. I kept having to ask to repeat what she was asking me. Finally, I said I can't hear you because of their conversation.

How you can most improve is make your survey that be answered orally. I have a tremor. I can't use foam pad. I have to have somebody push the buttons for me. You need to make it so they can be answered orally. Otherwise, I was perfectly happy with my visit.

I loved my doctor she is excellent and I loved the fact that she found out what was wrong with me and I would not change that for anything

Dr Velasco is an excellent Dr!!

Dr. Velasco is an excellent doctor. She listens. She knows your history. She's willing to work with you on different medications, different procedures. She's forthcoming about procedures that you'll need in the future and when they will be due. However, the virtua system is extremely flawed. The scheduling system is poor. It takes months to get in with your doctor. You cannot get in touch with your doctor. The phone number goes to a main hub of people that do not work in the hospital. They work remotely. Your call gets thwarted. So getting access to your doctor who has invested in you and you have invested in them is extremely difficult.

When calling on the phone to ask a question, get service or attempt to make an appointment it is the worst experience of my life. Virtua has the worst phone experience and why hasn't it been fixed by now .

Upon telling Dr. Velasco about my previous experience of trying to reach her, she was very understanding and helpful.

This is the first time I have felt comfortable in this office since Dr [REDACTED] left. The other provider I saw did not seem care about my concerns. Dr. Velasco listened to me, and she explained everything to both my husband and me. I sent her a message on 11/6 at 5pm and receives and answer on 11/7 at 6.41 am. I sent the other dr. a message on oct. 29 and I am still waiting to hear back from him, that is why I changed doctors.

I love Dr. Velasco as a doctor & as a person! I could spend all day with her. Always a smile and true concern for my condition.

The staff was very nice and treated me in a calm, welcoming, warm manner. Dr. Velasco was the same, always very warm and kind and listens to everything that I have to say. And then we discussed things and then we come to a mutually agreeable plan for me. My visit is always a positive one with her.

Very hard to get appts. They don't even schedule a follow up after a colonoscopy. If you are still having issues, they give you an appt, 3 months away. I had to throw a fit to get them to give me an appt sooner. This is so wrong.

My experience went extremely well. All of my questions and concerns were address in a professional manner. The staff is very proficient and pleasant.

I think it could improve by putting out more appointments. I had to wait a little bit to get the appointment, and I was an established patient. So I think having options for that would be great. I tried calling the office, but no one returns the call, and you don't get a return back on MyChart. I think they need to improve on MyChart as well to get messages returned within 48 hours.

The staff was amazing from start to finish and after 2+ years of severe abdominal pain with extensive negative tests, Dr Velasco ordered a test I've never had done. I finally feel hopeful I'll get a diagnosis and treatment.

My Chart info carried over to the wrong tabs so the provider had to search for my previous visits. Not the fault of the doctor.

Yes, I was very happy with Dr. Velasco and the staff at the office. I'm not happy with your automatic system. I'm handicapped. I can't push the buttons on my phone. I have to get somebody to help me push these buttons. When you have an automatic system, you should be able to answer orally along with pushing buttons. But evidently, you people don't really care. because this is the fourth time i've complained about it

I was in pain when I made the appointment and had to wait weeks to see the doctor. I was hospitalized in the interim. Dr. Velasco has not expressed real concern for my care since I became her patient and for that reason, I have considered changing to a GI specialist with extensive experience especially with older patients.

Dr. Brenda Velasco is top notch. The only downside is getting appointments to see her in a timely manner. Her schedule seems to be under lock. Otherwise everything about her and the team is amazing.

Dr Velasco is truly the best. She listens and provides careful feedback. I highly recommend although scheduling is tough. I've called in the past and her entire schedule was booked. Twice I promised a call when her schedule opened up. It never happened. She is the doctor I prefer to see for my GI issues
