Caroline Rochon, MD

Caroline Rochon, MD, FACS, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained organ transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon. Dr. Rochon specializes in liver and kidney transplantation, living donor surgeries, and liver and pancreas cancer surgeries. Her philosophy of care focuses on being accessible, compassionate, and honest with patients, so they have a full understanding of their condition and options to improve their quality of life. Dr. Rochon earned her medical degree and completed a general surgery residency at McGill University. She completed a liver and kidney transplant fellowship at New York Medical College. She also earned a Master of Health Care Administration at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Prior to arriving at Virtua, Dr. Rochon served as chief of transplantation surgery at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and as surgical director of kidney transplantation at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Rochon has published research in numerous medical journals and has presented at conferences worldwide.
