Catherine Kim, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist with the Penn Medicine | Virtua Health Cancer Program. She is Virtua Health chief of radiation oncology and is a clinical associate professor of radiation oncology with the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kim specializes in the treatment of breast, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, and thoracic cancers using advanced procedures such as proton therapy, brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy. Dr. Kim completed her undergraduate education at Tufts University. She earned her medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and radiation oncology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Kim is routinely named a “top doc” by regional magazines. She has published articles in numerous journals and presented at medical conferences nationwide.
