doc didn't wash hands; didn't know i had my gall bladder removed; still hasn't reviewed my EKG, thought visit 3 days ago; my concern for my health, partnered w/my family history, doesn't seem to match doc's concern; priority seems to performative - just a matter of prescribing meds and follow-up spots that are bland and insincere.

Trust is key. Everyone at Virtua cardiology can be trusted with the clients/patients care!!

My regular cardiologist Retired and Dr. McCargo took over and immediately sent me out for some test so that he can get to know my medical history a little better so that he can decide on what my next step is I thought he was very thorough and attentive to my care. He will continue on monitoring me in the future with further test when necessary.

The lady at the front desk was delightful. However, the assistant who took my blood pressure and weight was not. I'm very nervous when I go to doctors and I think it's important for all the staff to be pleasant and courteous.

I answered that it was not easy to make an appointment because they could not schedule my next appointment in six months. They indicated that I have to wait for them to call me. I always schedule appointments well in advance with all of my doctors so that I can plan properly.

some doctors don't like treating older patients, but the las t 3 drs i have seen in virtua practices really set the bar high

First of all, the office staff is super friendly and just overall amazing! Second, Dr. Mercogliano is very attentive, spent time with me, and he's up on my health history. This is refreshing considering most doctors these days are typing into a computer during your visit, don't even bother to update themselves on your health history before you show up, and are churning you through their office like a factory. This was a refreshing visit in today's environment.

I would like to say that I really do appreciate this doctor's bedside manner. It meant everything to me. It helped me so much. And I liked the attention that I received from my requests that I gave to them. And I will be returning to him in the future when I need a cardiologist.

I look forward to seeing him as he is knowledgeable, listens to me and always makes me feel good about my health needs. The staff are great, too. My prescriptions and tests are scheduled by them for me before I even check out. MyChart has everything about my visit as soon as I walk out. He's a doctor you always hope to find for your care!!!
