My provider was very kind and very passionate about what she does. And she took her time with me and didn't rush me in and rush me out. She sat and asked questions about my family and my health and how I was feeling, even emotionally and so on. So I appreciated her not being rushed. So I appreciated that so much.

Everyone was nice and even the nurse practitioner was nice, just when you have a new patient and he or she is a newly diagnosed or diabetic or especially, you know, getting for the first time starting to use or take insulin and that process and learning how to do that with or being taught and trained from someone in the office to do that for someone who's just starting out and this is the first time. I think the office lacked that and certainly didn't put things in place to make sure or ensure that the person that is now starting to take insulin knows how to do it on their own.

My experience was very comfortable, and I am looking forward to a healthier life in the future with my new doctors and nurses.

Dr Jamie is all i could hope for in a physician. She listens quietly then offers direct on point no nonsense suggestions. We cover every part of my treatment and i have no doubt that with her suggestions and encouragement i will be able to get this under control. thank you.

Very good overall

When I came in for my appointment, I came in early expecting to wait because I didn't want to go in front of anybody and I was taken right away. And when I met Jamie, she was very understanding. She listened to everything that I had to say and we had a good dialogue about how we were going to change and help my A1C to lower. I thought the office was very, very nice and I would definitely recommend it to everyone that I know.

Getting an appointment was impossible or next to impossible. You need to do something to correct this issue. Thank you.

She explained everything in detail, and I'm confident I'm going in right direction

Jamie Shelton was amazing and would highly recommend her! However, something not in her control happened as a fire drill occurred and we had to walk my 95 year old father down the stairs to be evacuated outside for approximately 20 minutes. Luckily we were able to sit in the car during this time. I understand if it had been a real fire, but a drill? And making an elderly person using a cane to go down stairs is not appropriate in my opinion for just a drill. Virtua, you can do better.

Great staff

I am so grateful that I was able to get an appointment with Jamie APN within a week after I called the office. The wait time to see a doctor would have been 3 months and I had been hospitalized for my high blood sugar. I was not feeling great and was very concerned I would have to wait that long for someone to make adjustments to my medication. My blood sugar was stable up until recently and it may have appeared that the medication I was taking was not effective at managing my diabetes and I had no options to help myself. Jamie was great, she is easy to talk to, she listened and addressed my concerns. After my visit I felt reassured with the plan discussed that my blood sugar levels would drop. I am already starting to see positive changes and I am feeling better. Thanks!

Everything was beyond my expectation

I feel like Dr. Shelton cares about me. It's a shock when I have to change doctors. I hope I don't have to and I get to see the same doctor. I understand that she's a nurse practitioner but she's a good one. I trust her. I probably wouldn't come if I had to see someone else. As a matter of fact I don't even think I made this appointment. Last time she sold me that I would have to see the doctor and I didn't make it an appointment. They made it for me. I've been to the doctors more in the past year than I have in the past 5 years. I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2011 and I never seen the endo. I'm doing the best I can. And I always know that I can do better.
