Jessica Ruiz, the medical assistant, and the lady checking me out after my visit were pleasant, professional, and made me feel comfortable like they knew me. However, I had a 7:20 appointment. I know I was probably the first appointment of the day, but the front desk check-in, the girls seemed to be half asleep and miserable. I usually don't get that, but I don't know if they were tired, but they weren't very pleasant at all. That was my first time ever experiencing that.

The appointment could not have gone better. The issue I have is with your 'systems' or whatever you call it. I had a test scheduled as follow up to this appointment. Evidently, your 'system' does not allow for choosing ALL body parts for testing. How is this even remotely acceptable. Via message with the staff, it was revealed that they only had limited ability to choose what body part could be chosen for a test! The radiology facility provided the body part and CPT code for the proper order entry, but your staff could not call it up! After I suggested a paper script to give to radiology, they spoke with the facility and came up with an 'understanding' of what was needed. The facility entered the test I needed into their system, and I have a printed order of a generic test. Is this what Virtua feels serves their patients and providers? I'm sure the medical staff is frustrated and embarrassed but they did not create this system.

Yes, the service is wonderful with Jessica Ruiz. However, the building is horrible for people that have a problem walking. It's too far into the building out of the parking lot. If you don't have someone driving you and dropping you at the door, which helps somewhat, you should have a concierge take people upstairs in a wheelchair if they ask for it. That's the only way, unless you put another door in that building. It's horrible, it's not built for real patients. And I'm sure there's not much you can do about it, but you could provide that service I just spoke about. Thank you, goodbye.
