    I knew the hospital didn't tell me everything when I got home and started looking at the paperwork but had to wait for insurance to go through to see mrs Jessica who is very thorough and amazing

    This was my first time visiting Virtua Health Mansfield. It was a new patient visit. I was having an issue with sporadically having blood in my urine. I couldn't be seen until I had a new patient visit. The triage nurse on the phone told me to go to Urgent Care. I then scheduled my new patient visit. I have no ongoing health issues and take no medications. During my visit, the provider suggested I have a full blood workup, mammogram, dexascan and ultra sound of my bladder and kidneys. She told me she would give me the scripts and that I would have to call my insurance company to see where to go. I was surprised that she couldn't even tell me if the attached Virtua lab took my insurance. She had all my information in front of her. I am still trying to figure out where to go. The scripts were all printed out on 8 1/2x11 sheets of paper, 2 pages per order. The blood work was 10 separate orders, rather than 1 order with multiple things to test for. In other words, I was handed a stack of papers about 1/2 in thick to figure out for myself what was what and where to go for it. Needless to say, I have not been able to schedule anything yet. It is going to take some time for me to research where to go. I haven't been to a lab or radiologist in Burlington Co. My first impression of Virtua Health Mansfield is that of a heartless factory, rather than a helpful caregiver.

    While the nurse practitioner was very courteous and attentive, I did discover my issue was misdiagnosed as an ear infection when a later visit with an ENT specialist revealed it was just a blockage. I unfortunately took unnecessary prescription antibiotics and steroids. This particular visit was the result of mishandling at an urgent care visit and it took days before I could get proper relief.

    Waste of time for the telehealth appointment. Nothing was followed up from the initial call which was then supposed to be discussed at the 16th appt

    It took an hour and a half to get an ekg done properly. They had an old machine that didn't work properly. Time for some new equipment. I wouldn't have another ekg done there.

    Jessica is a very kind, caring person. She went above and beyond to help me and make me feel comfortable she had me feel like family and that I was important. She is a great fit to Virtua and I hope they know how lucky there are to have her on the team.

    Other than getting the MyChart setup going, had issues figuring it out but got it resolved. All the staff were very professional and friendly. Its nice when you are greeted with smiles and compassion that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed without judgement.

    They did a great job. They sat there, they listened to me, and they asked me questions. I answered and I tell them how I felt, and they listened to everything that I said, and then they moved forward with telling me how to take care of it. They did a great job, including the staff. They were quick, handled everything correctly. I have no issues at all. 100% satisfied.

    The nurse did not take my vitals. She just put them in. I already put my history into my chart. The np said it was a history only visit and a follow up would be the physical exam. To add to injury not only did the np charge me to read my mychart, she didn't put in a consult or anything to screen for rectal ca. My older half brother was diagnosed that a few years ago and I'm just a few years younger than him. I told her I wanted to get pregnant next year. No obg or consult for that. I understand she needs labs but some of these are basic. I was a bedside nurse for a lot of years. I don't mention that for obvious reasons. But as a nurse and patient from various areas, I have never had a provider go about things this way. This provider is out of network. Which would have been fine had she done her job. Instead I felt like this was to get me in and charge me more visits. And what the nurse did, just writing in vital numbers and putting them in the computer, is dangerous. I do not have high bp. Historical I'm in a normal range. My fingers were cold and she was getting a pulse in the 40s and 30s. She never rechecked my o2 sat nor pulse. She gave me a false possible history of htn and if I was having any abnormal issues, she pretty much missed it by not reassessing my vitals. The whole situation left me not only feeling discouraged but used financially too. As I got both charged for a visit and not one thing I needed was accomplished. I drove 2 hrs and paid out of network prices for nothing. To add, my husband came with me, saw an DO, and his visit was vastly different. The DO assessed him. The DO got a history too and didn't make it a "history only" visit... best part? My husband didn't fill out a mychart. Just me, the fool did. Had i not filled out the mychart, maybe the couple hundred bucks I paid would have been worth wild. Instead I got billed for nothing. I got a possible false htn hx started... I really got nothing good towards my health goals or future pregnancy plans. I wish I could cancel my bill because I really didn't have a checkup or anything and I truly fill this was a visit i just got charged for to make someone money. Why did the DO my husband see do a physicial, got a health hx, and consults to what he needs but the np i saw did none of those things? Why did the nurse take his vitals but just wrote mine in? This was both our first visit. Same office. Same building. Same appointment times. Different provider. So greatly different.

    Yes, I never had a female doctor. I always had a male doctor. And I was real skeptical about having a female doctor. But she made me feel very comfortable, very knowledgeable. And I have to say, it's one of the best doctors that I have ever dealt with in my life. And I would definitely keep her as my provider. Thank you.
