I have been coming to this office for a very long time. I've gone through many doctors and even my daughter and a few other people that I've talked to does not like this doctor. He has no personality. He doesn't even want to listen to you not a very good bedside matter. The staff is very courteous and they're always willing to accommodate you. I don't even know if I wanna make my next appointment with this guy. I might cancel it.

The medical student that saw me before the doctor was very kind, sensitive and considerate. She will be a good pediatrician some day!

Staff is always very nice and respectful. Dr LaRatta is a Dr of few words, but his medical knowledge with pinpointing the issue and offering the right medication is always on spot. His primary goal is to get your health up to par. And that is very good trait to have, especially in the medical field. Thank you in requesting my imput.

I have never had an appointment in my life where the person I was scheduled to meet seemed as uninterested as Dr.Laratta was at my last appointment. I'd be very angry if I wasn't so impressed at the level apathy I was met with.

I love this office but hate getting stuck with Dr. LaRatta. He mumbles when he speaks, never actually tells me what's wrong with me, only what medications he's sending in. He has a terrible bedside manner and acts like it's a hassle every time he treats me. I wish that they would rotate him to a different office and let the good doctors stay. Every time that office gets a good doctor, they transfer them to a new office.

Please do not give john l anymore because he very slow and he did not listen to me and I do not want him as a family doctor I want dr [REDACTED] no one else

Everything was very professional, friendly, and the service was excellent.

I was okay with the service provider, but the doctor, he was very unprofessional and he did not, he didn't even, I gave him a list of the meds that I was on. He did not listen to him or follow him. He went on his own cognitive and thought what he wanted and he kept asking me if I had a stomachache or was my stomach concerned and I told him no and he provided, he gave me a prescription for a medication, a Pepsi for a stomach and I kept telling him I did not have issues with my stomach. So I felt as though that he was not listening to me or my concerns at all but just in what he thought he was reading and he did not ask me personally what I was doing.

Very satisfied with my treatment as well as the attention that the staff paid. Thank you.

Yes, the doctor that I saw, I forget his name, he was very impersonal. He did not speak to me much during my visit. The medical student who was in training did not look over my file, asked me the same questions that she could have answered if she would have just looked up my information and did a little bit more digging. Instead, she glossed over everything instead of paying attention to me as an individual.

John Laratta was the doctor I saw. My personal opinion is that retirement may be his best option. While talking to him he was disoriented. He asked questions twice and refilled a prescription I told him I was not taking at the time. At his age it is only natural to forget things but if he continues to work in his state I believe he may unknowingly prescribe a wrong medication or wrongfully diagnose a patient. Please take this review into consideration.

He only refilled 2 of the 3 prescriptions I needed. Asked me about a colon screening & I responded by saying I had just had one a year ago. Shortly after my visit I got an email stating my Cologard kit would be delivered soon.... I won't be seeing him again.

The drs bedside manner is very dry & non enthusiastic...

The doctor listened to me, but he did not wash his hands before or after he touched my wound. Also, the scissors used to cut the bandages was not sterile. I was concerned for the hygiene.

He was dismissive, didn't tell me what he was prescribing and when I asked, he simply said, "cough syrup." He should retire. This practice needs more culturally competent doctors.

My survey was for the Dr NOT the staff...Did not listen or look at problem are. Talked to himself and was told next time don't got to Urgent Care. Urgent care was bc it was a Friday night and needed care...will NEVER schedule with THAT Dr again

Best group of doctors I've ever met!

As always I was treated like I was family.

It's been a pleasure seeing all the doctors there at Virtua. Everyone is so kind and caring. They call me all the time about any changes and what not to take and what to take. I don't trust many doctors, especially Atlantic Care. And with Virtua, I feel like I'm completely 100% safe. They're doing a great job and everyone's so kind. Thank you.

Everyone was very thorough and didn't rush us. Dr. LaRatta was very attentive and patient. I was very comfortable during my visit. The staff members are all very competent and friendly.

Doctor was not great

The doctor was not taking care of the problem I went into the office for. And when he left the prescription or whatever, or the outline of what was to happen, it was nothing like what I went in there for. And he prescribed me medication for sleeping, which I never said I needed any of that. After all of this, he did not take care of my ankle problem that I went in there for. So I'm saying I would never go back to him again. Thank you.
