About Joseph A. Marascio

Joseph Marascio, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist with the Penn Medicine | Virtua Health Cancer Program. He specializes in the treatment of gynecologic, breast, thoracic, prostate, skin, head and neck cancers, as well as recurrent disease (reirradiation), using advanced approaches such as stereotactic body radiotherapy and proton therapy. Dr. Marascio earned his medical degree from the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and radiation oncology residencies at the Augusta University Medical College of Georgia and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Marascio served as an assistant professor of radiation oncology at the Emory University School of Medicine and has presented research nationally.
