Simply put, I felt heard. Dr Dwyer explained my condition at length. He took time to review my history, my labs, MRI and X-rays and explain what was happening in my body. I'm very satisfied with my care.

The lower score about knowing my medical history was due to the fact that we just moved here, so my history was not available for his review.

Doctor was great but the front desk is a mess . Only one person to check u in and nobody to check u out . When I left had a notice to get X-rays .. I was not suppose to get xray problem was fixed so no idea what that was about . And the fact u have an outside company charge the patient to do fmla paperwork is ridiculous . U need more employees in that office and bring back the person who does the paperwork .

It was perfect!

The CMA even offered to help me carry some of my things, since I had to take my 5 months old granddaughter with me and had her in a car seat, the diaper bag and my own bag. I thought that was extremely sweet. Both, the CMA and Dr Dwyer, were very personal and put me at ease. I didn't feel rushed, and he explained to me what he was doing as he did it which helped me relax during the procedure.

I was seen promptly and my physician was outstanding!! I am completely satisfied with every aspect of my care.

Availability and excellent care!

I was very confident in the doctor's findings, even to the suggested amount of occupational therapy I'll need. After 2 days of service, the therapist agreed with my therapy needs. This is my 5th year in being by this hand specialist and I'm pleased with my care.

Yes, the facility was very nice and everybody seemed nice. So I can't say any more than that, but I was quite happy when I left there and when I came there. Thank you.

Still waiting for the doctor to email me the information for my surgery, I called yesterday and she said that she was going to email it to me and I still haven't received it.

I have always had the best care at Reconstructive Orthopedics.

If you ask your pre-op pts to use an antibacterial soap you should provide a Hibiclens sample size. I spent $13 buying something similar at CVS. Penn Medicine hands these out to scheduled surgical pts.

Since my problem did not warrant surgery or any other advanced treatment at this time, he referred me to my Rheumatologist which I agreed was the best next step after he had explained what he thought was going on with my hand.

Really fast visit. Just did a basic examination and recommended hand / thumb brace. Told me about recommended treatments and if I wanted a shot in my hand, I had to make another appointment. Also had x-ray of my hand.

Everything is done well. Dr. Dwyer has done everything he could and the only negativity I can say is relevant to the calls that I make that are, how can I put it, very, very time consuming. Sometimes I wait as long as 15 minutes and something has to be done about that. Okay. Thank you. Bye-bye.

Dr Dwyer took excellent care of my compound fracture in my finger. I've started with Virtua hand therapy and am well on the way to making a full recovery.

I really liked how the surgeon sent out a letter written by him and addressed concerns that patients might have. I thought that was pretty nice personal touch that made me feel included in the decisions about my care.

I have always found them to be good at diagnosing my problem and finding a cure and I am grateful.

I am very thankful that Dr. Dwyer took the time to educate me and I mean really educate me plus answered all my questions regarding my medical condition. I went to my appointment extremely scared. Not scared to see the Dr. but scared of the unknown. Since my condition is new to me and something I have never heard of or experienced - I really had no idea if the Dr. would perform any kind of procedure. I am happy to report that I am in stage 1 of my condition and no medical intervention is needed at this time. I am fully aware of when I should see the Dr. again if needed in the future. It is not often that a Dr. would give so much of his time with a patient and be so prepared to both show me information, as well as, explain the where, why, and how of my condition. Thank you Dr. Dwyer and Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics I truly appreciate your professional medical advise - I was in good hands with the hand specialist provided to me.

The dr was gruff and scolded me like a child. He then grabbed my thumb and twisted till it hurt and unfortunately caused distress and discomfort which has continued since then! I have a great deal of arthritis at the base and to prove it he bent it and actually made me yelp! I got his point about seeing a dr consistently but the dr I was seeing moved to a distant office. I prefer the Medford office but since he works there I guess I will have to go somewhere else! Hopefully not Virtua!

My entire experience was very positive. All the staff from the emergency room, nursing staff on the floor, through admission to my discharge were attentive and respectful. Dr. Dwyer kind, clearly explained my diagnosis, my procedure, and what to expect post/op. to both to me and my family.

Your call, message, phone interface in not very friendly. I called , waited over 1 hour then was disconnected. I called back to find out my place in line was 56. I selected for a call back. No one called back.the next day the same wait of almost one hour. After speaking with a human all was okay.

When I first called for an appointment I was told a week later. I told the woman I was in pain. She said nothing else opened. A few minutes later someone named [REDACTED] called me and gave me an appointment for the next day!!!! She was so sweet to me. Very pleasant. She said there were plenty of open appointments and not sure why I was told I had to wait a week. Dr Dwyer is an amazing doctor!

I had an appointment at 8:40, and was not called until 9:10. No updates were provided, and none of the staff acknowledged or apologized for the delay. Virtua inundates me with reminders about my appointment time for DAYS in advance of my appointments and instructs me to arrive early - which I always do. The minimum level of service should be to keep the patient apprised of any delays.

Very considerate staff

I had filled out my info on line but got to the appointment early anyway. I was taken in quickly and did not have to wait long for Dr. Dwyer to come in. Everything was ready for him to administer the shots for me.

I had a very disappointing experience with my orthopedic surgeon office this morning. Upon arrival, I was shocked to be presented with a $500 co-pay bill-an unexpected and significant amount to deal with first thing in the morning. Initially, the receptionist informed me that I needed to pay this amount before receiving any services. However, she then suggested that I could make a small deposit today and set up a payment plan for the remainder. To add to the frustration, she insisted on having a card on file to set up this payment plan, but when she attempted to charge it, the card was declined. She then informed me that the bill would be sent home instead. This entire process was absolutely horrible, disgraceful, and despicable. There was a complete lack of transparency regarding fees and transactions prior to my surgery date. I expected better communication and clarity, especially regarding financial obligations. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

I was in so much pain when I walked in ... and so much of it subsided by the time I left! So thankful for Dr Dwyer! I would recommend him to anyone!

While Dr. Dwyer was nice enough, I was upset that he said the reactions I said I had to steroids weren't considered an allergy and he prescribed me a steroid dose pack. I decided to give it a try since he seemed so sure, but had to call the doctor on call today due to a reaction of redness, swelling, and itching. The doctor told me to stop the medication.

The lady at checkout was rude and dismissive. If it weren't for the doctor and the lady who checked me in I would not return. I'm sorry that you are tired. I'm sorry that you hadn't had your coffee that morning but that is not my problem and my standing at the desk while you yawn and stir your coffee and ignore me is unacceptable to say the least!

It was not good the nurse and intake persons was very good. The doctor was not listening to me I know my finger was not broken but it was hurting like heck and still is. I'm doing what he told me it's only getting worse I tried to tell him that my it hurt just to touch it. I was not mad at the diagnosis I was angry at the lack of care he was providing. Thank You!

The doctor tried to convince me that it was a trigger finger, that my problem. And I don't believe it because I can't move the finger to be straight. There's something blocking it in the joint. And he's telling me, no, no, it's a trigger finger. I left. I was disappointed and I left. I wouldn't go. I didn't want to go back to Virtua and I just let it go. Bye now.

From the start, being seen at the urgent care to the follow up appointment, everything was easy and convenient.

If you need to see an orthopedic doctor this is the best place to go! One suggestion...could you please run a class on how to maneuver the My Chart tool.

I only saw dr a few mins, difficult to assess completely. Dr was helpful in providing me with hopefully instant relief with a steroid injection and a wrist splint. Dr Dwyer was very kind and caring.

Worst ever. Arrived on time. Sat there and every person in the waiting room was called in. Waited almost an hour. All the people at the front desk left for lunch! Yes, all of them. The 2 check out people were busy. I finally asked why everyone was called ahead of me. After helping other patients, she finally said "there is 1 person ahead of you." After waiting an hour there was still someone ahead of me! When I finally went into a room, I still had to wait. I did comment it was a long wait. Th doctor's answer was- "I don't like to come to work either." I don't understand how ALL the check-in staff leave at once. Patients coming in didn't know what to do. I am a patient here the Moorestown location, and I think ths office needs be looked at and be welcoming to all patients in a timely manner.
