I drive one hour to get to this privet, that should say how satisfied I am with her. Everyone in this office is extremely nice and understanding. I would not go anywhere else.

Karen is an amazing provider. She listens to me as a person. She takes time and does not make me feel rushed and the space is beautiful. I enjoy coming and visiting. I enjoy coming to my appointments every year.

Karen has cared for me for approximately 30 years. She was instrumental in saving my sons life at birth 26 years ago and did so with such calmness and grace that I didn't even know there was danger until my follow up visit when she explained what happened. Karen provides professional and compassionate care and when I visit her office, I always feel safe and at home!

Karen gave the most thoughtful responses. She was very careful to hear all of the information and add her expertise to my questions. And I would recommend her to everybody who ever asked me about wanting this type of doctor. She was over the top excellent. If I could scale of zero to 10 with 10 being the best, she was a 20. Just excellent. And I'm so thankful to have her expertise to deal with my decisions medically. Thank you. Bye.

I saw Karen Shields at the Midwifery Center in Virtua and she is by far the best provider I have ever been with. She delivered my two sons and her attention to detail, her bedside manner, her ability to listen and be so incredibly caring and supportive and easily accessible is such an asset to Virtua and they should be so thankful that they have a provider in their system that is to the level and caliber that Karen is. I would refer her and have been referring her to a variety of people that I meet in my network and I'm really appreciative and grateful that she's there giving care to women's health and supporting midwifery the way it should be done. Thank you.
