All staff and doctor and front desk and MA were perfectly fine and everything went well during my visit and the doctor listened to me and we did a very detailed plan. I was told that someone was going to call me about scheduling a CTCA. Nobody called. I tried calling lines three, four and the RN line and both all three lines. Nobody could give me a line or phone number or to redirect me to a phone number line that actually had somebody answering the phone. It just kept ringing and ringing 20 times or more for line three, line four, and in the RN line. For some reason, I was able to get through to someone. They said, okay, you have to schedule it here. They sent me to somebody else, and then it was empty. There was nothing there. So they just need to make sure that they have their phone numbers correct when they are scheduling the CTCA.

Dr. Curl is the most responsive physician I have ever had in terms of the treatment that he provides, his response time in getting back to you, the attention that he provides to your prior medical history, in terms of creating a plan of care for you, and especially in terms of getting you your test results and that type of thing. He far exceeds every other physician in that regard and I appreciate him in all those ways. He also has been extremely helpful in navigating things so that I was able to get non-cardiac related diagnoses for conditions that I had that were happening that he became aware of during the course of his treatment with me. He partners with other doctors and he just makes sure that his patients get the best, highest quality level of care imaginable.

After my visit, I had to get input into my developing situation, so I called the nurse line and left a message. While the line doesn't promise a response immediately, they did respond quickly and the message was given to Dr Curl. We came up with a new plan which is working well so far. In a developing situation it is vital for nursing response and I was very pleased they responded quickly.

Why can't we schedule our six month appt when we check out? It's annoying that they say we ll call you about a month ahead of time to schedule. That doesn't work for me. Because I need to schedule my blood work ahead of the appt and not knowing until last minute is difficult. I also have to request the time off from work so I need to get it on my calendar.

Dr. Curl reviewed all my tests from my recent hospitalizations and explained things to me that no one else had. He addressed heart-related issues as well as how things impacted my body as a whole. Dr. Curl answered all my questions, reviewd what tests I am scheduled for in the future, and even planned to follow-up with my pulmonary doctor regarding some additional testing for my lungs he felt my pulmonary doctor might want to consider. He even advised me to try to get my flu vaccine and the new Covid vaccine before my upcoming Ocrevus infusion, if possible. As always, the appointment was on time, very thorough, and not rushed. I couldn't ask for better. Dr. Curl is the main reason I continue to be a Virtua patient.
