Laura A. Salciunas, PsyD

Laura Salciunas, PsyD, is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Geriatrics and Gerontology at the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine – New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging. Dr. Salciunas earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, followed by a clinical neuropsychology fellowship at Stony Brook University Medical Center. Her practice focuses on the evaluation of adults over age 55 for cognitive concerns related to dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases. Her clinical interests include neurodegenerative disease; aging well; healthy lifestyle choices to prevent and slow the progression of neurodegenerative disease; women’s brain health; sleep; and mental health’s impact on cognition; and advocacy.
