I sought menopause care from multiple providers in my local area without success. They really did not have the knowledge. I located Dr. Spivack 's name on the North American Menopause Society website and scheduled an appointment with her. She is approximately one hour from me. Very much worth the drive. She listens, she is attentive, and she is very knowledgeable. I have referred more than a dozen friends and family to her and all have had a positive experience. She is a breath of fresh air. I don't know why I'm saying.

I had a very good experience with every person that I encountered during my entire appointment and I highly recommend others to go to that office.

This appointment was roughly a two hour drive from my home. I was dreading it especially after my urologist came up empty and said she needed to send me elsewhere. From prior experiences I thought it would be the usual ordeal of being belittled and dismissed. I cried talking about my medical chaos, but also I cried tears of joy since Dr. Spivack actually listened and showed care and concern. That has been super rare in my nearly 14 years of dealing with chronic health problems, but Dr. Spivack said since I had painful periods as a preteen I actually have been dealing with inadequate care for far longer. I wish we could clone her. We need more doctors like her around.
