I also found when I called for the appointment, I said, can you put me on a callback list? The woman called back. She was very helpful. The doctor came in. We talked. He examined me. Everything was top-notch. I would not go any other place but here and I have even recommended this place for my brother. Dr Mathur is wonderful- it's just difficult to make an appointment with him, he's booked months out- yet he always answers notes sent thru My Chart.

Scheduling is very difficult. I'm an established patient in the office for 10 years and it's very hard for me to get appointments there. Their calendars only open up for one month at a time and then they book up within a few days, so making it horrible. So hopefully they can fix it. That's it.

I had a bad experience with this doctor's practice in Aug. I called in because I wasn't feeling well & it took 3 days & another call into the office before I got a callback. He assured me that the associates responsible for the lack of urgency were no longer working there. I don't believe it should have happened in the first place.

I have been going to the Lumberton location for neurology for over a decade. The staff and nurses and great and wonderful. Doctor Mathur is awesome, very professional, and personal. He listens and doesn't rush through the appointment. Additionally, with the use of MyChart, makes access to them and records so easy.

My very first visit, and I was quite satisfied with the entire establishment.

Every staff member is very friendly and helpful. Dr Mathur is the best neurologist ; he truly listens to you and tries to help find what will help you best.

Everyone was very nice. I did not think I was claustrophobic but I was on edge for the procedure. I feel the staff performing this could have been a little more compassionate when it was over. I was pretty much rushed out of there. I love Virtua though.

I was called in for my session with Dr. Mathur . He greeted me with smile , listened very carefully, took his time to listen and made suggestion. He answered all my questions and explained his answers. He is a very good doctor.

It wouldn't hurt the Front Desk Staff to greet Patients with a smile when they come in. Even though they seem quite efficient a little human emotion like a smile or a welcome would be nice. It only takes a few seconds. They may be seasoned staffers but they still are young enough to learn new ways of making patients feel comfortable. The Doctor was great in all respects. Paid full attention and understood my issues and had a lovely bedside manner.
