On time no wait

This healthcare provider that saw my son for the first time was rude. She was very, like, didn't include me in the plan of care for my son. She made me feel small for asking the questions that I wanted to ask. And she didn't provide me with a safe space to be able to have a conversation with her where I would feel respected and her response was just not a good one. Her bedside manner is terrible and I don't think she should be practicing.

The staff at the Washington Twp office is very friendly. I appreciated that a swab was done for both of my children to determine if they had a virus. I received a phone call the next day with the results.

The whole experience led me to leaving and calling another pediatrician to change doctors. My daughter was very sick and the first thing the nurse said when she looked at her was "well she looks thrilled to be here" the doctor stayed far away from her showing no care or concern like my kid had the plague. They even did the swab for flu when the weighed her and didn't tell me it was happening l. I only found out when they came in to tell me that she tested positive for flu b. This experience was the final straw and I'll be changing to advocare.

I understood in my son's sick visit that there was no "treatment " for the RSV diagnosis we assumed, I just would have loved to have received supportive care solutions & what to look for if symptoms progressed. i.e humidifier, propping his head in bassinet, etc etc. along with things to look out for in a newborn

The nurse and 2 providers were quick to treat my daughter. They were amazing

I think everyone and every provider that I have ever encountered at this practice, including Meghan, has been wonderful, very professional, and right on point. I couldn't imagine sending my grandson to any other doctor's office. I commend them for a job well done.

The scheduling process is absolutely awful. When I called I was given a 6:00 appointment. My confirmation text said 6:40. I called back to ensure that 6:00 was my correct time and the receptionist assured me it was. I waited with my son for over 45 minutes for the appointment that was scheduled for 6:40 even though I was told 6:00 twice. While waiting there I received yet another text message reminding me my appointment was at 6:40 and to arrive be 6:00. That is a horrible practice for any office yet alone a pediatrician where that length of a wait is extremely difficult for young children, especially those not feeling well. This seems to be a common issue because the appointment times I am told over the phone never match the time texted in the confirmation. It seems like a shady way of ensuring patients are there prior to their appointment time. If my children were not established at this practice I would change because the older receptionists who have been in the Washington Twp are always miserable and apparently can't schedule properly.

Both doctor and student were very observant to myself and my child. They listened to not only my concerns, but also listened to the details that my child was able to voice to them.

Meghan Salvatore was extraordinary with my son, explaining carefully what to expect with his visit, answering all my questions and concerns, and giving Aiden the opportunity to choose whether he wanted to receive a Flu Shot or not, not trying to pressure him into an uncomfortable position. Most importantly, when Dr. Salvatore reached the part of my son's physical where she had to examine his private areas, as a mother I truly appreciated the fact that she made sure he understood that only his parents and his doctor WITH his parents in the room were the only people who should touch those areas. It made his first visit to the Rowan Office more comfortable for a boy his age.

All of the nurses in the office were very kind and considerate and they were just great. They were terrific.

She made me feel as if I shouldn't have brought my kids in for a sick visit. Didn't care. Also my appointment was at 11 and wasn't seen until 11:45. All she did was listen to my kids belly's. Not a people person made it seem like this visit with my 5 month old and 4 year old was a waste.
