Dr. Patel is very conservative with respect to the Wegovy pill. Weight Watchers is using the pill, among others. Dr. Patel won't prescribe it, which is disappointing. He doesn't seem to understand the psychology of food addiction.

Dr Patel was professional but he did not listen to my conversation. About the need for Prednisone especially when my husband is sick with he same upper respiratory sickness and on preds . I did not recover called back today to explain that my ears are still clogged and throat ruff . Dr Patel will not budge on this medication.

I'm so happy I made the decision to change my primary care physician to Virtua. Dr. Patel and his staffers always courteous, on time, attentive and more importantly show genuine concern.

My doctor has the bedside manner that I have long been searching for. He listens very attentively and seems to care about my concerns and my health. He explains things so I can understand and reviewed my charts and results before he comes in. The practice is very very difficult to get in to when I am sick. Urgent care/ER visits often happen due to lack of appointment availability.

My primary doctor, Dr. Patel, makes me feel like I am his only patient and that one on one attention is magnificent.

My experience at Virtua Primary Healthcare was absolutely excellent. From entering and meeting with the receptionist all the way through to my appointment with Dr. Patel, he listened, was concerned, made very good suggestions, helped me figure out what types of appointments I needed because I'm on Medicare.
