The nurse or PA was very helpful getting a urine sample tested right at the office and also sent it out to a lab for confirmation due to an ongoing problem that was quickly resolved- I was very impressed at how efficiently it was done by the staff at Virtua. I will always prefer an in office visit to a video. Not because of my age, but because it is basically cold and not personal. Video remains the choice of the future, but not my choice. Cold and impersonal.

One small suggestion which never would have occurred to me had I not been having a significant leg issue. The "counter tops" are very high. I am very short. Due to the nature of my problem, I needed to hang on o something. I attempted to use the counter, but its height made that VERY difficult. I must add that the employee who was assisting me seemed to realize that I was experiencing some difficulty and asked if while I waited for her I would like to have a seat: unfortunately getting back and forth to that rather distant seat seemed like it would bean excruciating experience. Could some kind of small railing be installed onto the front of each workstation where patients are likrly to stand?

I first tried to schedule via chat, they wanted to send me urgent care saying they had no appointments. After calling I was able to schedule. So the chat doesn't have the correct access? Do they get extra money when they are successful in scheduling urgent care?????

Dr. McCormick's been my doctor for probably almost 30 years now. Been absolutely wonderful, professional, somehow remembered me, and I was probably about the same age, somehow remembers almost everything in my medical history without looking it up. He was very helpful with me getting on zet bound, which is why I was going in there, indicated the process, having getting blood work done, and then him submitting it, which I think that's where we're at now. Just been very helpful. Thank you.

I had a very good experience and I feel my health is in good hands with Dr. McCormick.

After checking in for a 12:00 appointment, I took my seat in the waiting area. The representative from the front came back to immediately inform me that Dr McCormick was running 40 minutes late. I was given options to leave for 40 minutes and come back or reschedule. After driving one hour, I was not doing either. When I did see Dr McCormick I mentioned to him that I understood emergencies take place and if I was in that situation, I would want him to take his time with me. He assured me that this was the situation. HOWEVER, my complaint is that if I was 40 minutes late, I would not be seen. I feell this is totally one sided. Again emergencies happen.

I come to this practice specifically to receive care from this doctor.

Dr McCormick is fantastic, as is the staff. He's thorough, knowledgeable, and a truly caring doctor. My issues are with Virtua's business model being such that I'm expected to go to a Virtua urgent care if I am sick between my annual visits. Urgent care costs more, the doctors do not know me or my history, advice from them has not been great for my family, and they often recommend seeing our primary anyway. So the cost to the patient is more than double what it would have been. It would be best for patients to go back to how it used to be, where the primary isn't over booked but has more open slots for existing patients.

Dr McCormick is great! Takes his time with his patients. It is just so sad that appointments have to be scheduled so far out - what if there is a problem that comes up? Virtua doesn't seem to recognize people don't know when a medical issue may arise - this is a virtua issue. McCormick is good!
