First time with Dr Townsend and he knew my medical history. We updated my history, talked about inspire vs continuing CPAP. Readjusted my CPAP machine to level elevation as needed. I remove my mask during the night, not getting more than 4 hours. Ordered a new/updated CPAP machine as current machine is about 8-10 years old. Dr Towsend was very attentive and listened to me and was very helpful. Front desk staff and nurse were very welcoming, attentive and made me feel very comfortable.

They got me appointment asap knowing how sick I was and just out of the hospital..the entire visit was exceptional. The doctor showed compassion and cared about my health issues..the staff was also very kind and caring..definitely keeping this group for my pulmonary care going forward

Dr Townsend is an exceptional doctor who is a knowledgeable, caring very concerned about giving his patients the best care.

Dr. Townsend saved my life when he came on my case in January 2025. I was in a coma on a ventilator at OLOL hospital and his Associate who had been treating me for weeks were discussing "comfort care". He took a different approach to what they were doing and his interventions made all the difference and I was breathing on my own within 4 days of him changing my treatment plan. After my recovery I reviewed all my records to find out who it was who saved me. I made an appointment to see him and when I told him who I was he remembered every detail about my care. He was very humble about how he saved my life. I am forever grateful to him for standing up to his peers and fighting for me!! I am beyond blessed and so very happy he came into my world, just when I needed him.

I thought Dr Townsend was thoughtful in his evaluation and medical recommendations. I felt really comfortable and feel as if my clinical complaints were addressed and appreciated the time he spent with me. The front desk and MA who took me back we're personable professional and I enjoyed my visit.

The only real negatyive was the waiting time for the doctor. My appt was at 8:30 and was brought in at a timely manner. However the doctor came in at 9:15. To me, 8:45 or 8:50 is reasonable, 9:15 is not. We all have other appointments to keep.

Staff treated me as soon as I walked, saw doctor 5 mins later. Dr understanding and pleasant, Made quick decisions on how to address my problem.

The nurse was fantastic. She should be placed in an office. It was disconcerting seeing multiple people hearing our conversation and looking at her computer screen. I will not use your services again, but only because of the lack of privacy, not due to the quality of the outstanding nurse.

Dr Townsend listened carefully to my concerns, and answered all my questions. Explained my options in a clear manner.

I appreciated the laid back yet professional atmosphere.

Through pulmonary stress testing Dr. Townsend advised that my lungs were ok but he saw an abnormality in the way my heart responded to the stationary bike test. He advised me to go back to my cardiologist to ask for additional testing. My cardiologist sent me for a CT angiogram with contrast test which revealed a 70% blockage in my right coronary artery. Without Dr. Townsend's assessment of his testing I would have went another year thinking my symptoms of breathlessness was just stress, which may have led to an increase in the artery's blockage and potentially a cardiac event. Please pass along my thanks and gratitude to him.
