Schenike S. Massie-Lambert, PhD

Schenike Massie-Lambert, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about equitable access to mental health care. Dr. Massie-Lambert earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Adelphi University. Before joining the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine, she served as training director for the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences Psychology Internship and principal investigator at the Children’s Center for Resilience & Trauma Recovery. She was drawn to the field of mental health because of an interest in identifying the internal and external resources that support people in recovering and growing in the face of stress and adversity. Her clinical expertise includes trauma, depression, anxiety, identity-based stress, and relational concerns. Her integrative, strength-based therapeutic style is grounded in collaboration, empathy, and empowerment. Dr. Massie-Lambert has worked in various clinical settings and is committed to increasing mental health awareness, particularly among historically underrepresented communities. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, volunteering with her local PTA, and spending time with her family and friends.
