Dr Macmillan is the absolute Best!

Dr McMillan is an awesome doctor, I had a previous surgery performed by him with a very good outcome that's why I chose to be under his care again, he's a very kind and caring doctor, he people skills are outstanding.

I have been with the office for a year. I am so incredibly grateful for the care I received! Dr. McMillan has wonderful knowledge, compassion and bedside manners! He absolutely changed my life!

The post surgery instructions were lacking, specially the documentation related to steps toward a successful recovery. The two week delay for my follow-up appt negatively impacted the success of the procedure and recovery to full motion. Very disappointing.

The staff at this location is always pleasant, helpful and professional.

I think Dr. Macmillan is a great doctor, but it has come to my attention from someone else that he's only going to be responsible for sports patients, and I would like to keep him as my doctor. So I think y'all should think about that because he did my one knee surgery, and I know I'm going to need another one replacement for the other knee, and I would like to stick with the same doctor. So just a little food for thought there.

Dr. Mcmillan did a very good job examining me, giving me feedback in determining the course of action that I should take. What I don't approve of is the insurance companies dictating how the treatment's going to be done. So again, the insurance companies should not be dictating my treatment. That's the only feedback I have.

My only complaint, and it's just a very slight complaint, is that there isn't enough time to review everything with Dr. Mcmillan, especially when it's been a while and there's multiple issues with someone like myself. Dr. McMillan was as good a man as he is a surgeon. He is very personable, articulate, and knowledgeable. He took great care of me and my shoulder, and I didn't just feel like another patient, I felt he actually cared about my progress and me as a person. I would highly recommend him!

The only thing I disliked about this visit was that all the exam rooms had all their personality removed. I enjoyed the sports plaques and such the Doctor McMillan used to decorate the walls

Need to be able to schedule appts with Dr's and pa's more easily

I don't like being on a 15 minute timer when a person walks into the room with me. Especially the assistant who is asking the preliminary questions. I feel rushed & like a number. I realize that this is an insurance thing, but it feels rushed, rude & inconsiderate. Besides all of those things, I don't have the time to gather my thoughts & feel like I'm not giving proper information sometimes. This time the medical staff questioning me seemed like he was in some kind of race. It was disconcerting. That's sad because Dr McMillan is really a good doctor & this took away from the experience

Dr. McMillan was very helpful in everything with my son from the beginning of this beginning before the surgery and after the surgery. Would be ideal if there was more than one day a week I could see the doctor, the limited time frame makes it difficult but I understand there are limitations with scheduling

Dr. McMillan is amazing, but the process of scheduling an appointment is a nightmare. I waited 1 hour just to make an appointment and even as an existing patient I waited 2 months to get this appointment. Ive been a patient of his for 10 years and see him often. Existing patients should not have to wait that long. Also I think it was a terrible idea to take away the ability to schedule an appointment via mychart.

I was very happy with Dr McMillian. I put all my trust into him. I am no longer satisfied with Virtua. I was informed that Dr McMillian is no longer doing Total Knee Replacements. As a patient, that completely trusted in him. Im totally don't understand why he is no longer doing knee replacements. As a patient, I do not trust someone else to do my next knee replacement. I don't think I will be continuing treatment with your practice. Your company should be ashamed that you do not take into consideration how a patient feels with you having control of what Dr they see, trust and confide in. Poor!Poor! Poor! Very Sad!

Surprisingly for a specialty practice, was seen in a timely manner not the usual 30 to 45 minute wait time at private practices with other specialties that I have been to in the virtua system

Great Surgeon

I was there to see Dr. McMillan. I couldn't really schedule anything because everything had to be approved through Workmen's Comp. in the past when I had to schedule my own stuff. Everything went great the people upfront at the receptionist area. They are fantastic. The people in the back, the x-ray technician, everybody treated me like I was somebody special. I feel very comfortable there and Doctor McMillan makes me feel extremely comfortable and I trust him. I always tell people how good of experience we've had at your place and also about the hospital when I had to have surgery done, you guys are doing a fantastic job and I spread the word to everybody. I can't even the wife has work done there and she spreads the word too. Thank you so much. Glad to be able to do this survey. God bless you all.

The doctor wanted to know how I wanted to handle my problem. He let me know that I had options which I liked he didn't force anything on me and he seemed to be a very pleasant person. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Dr McMillan was very caring and helpful in making me feel comfortable with making a decision on my future surgery.

Everything went well except for signing in and signing out. It was very slow. The line was long. You need more than two people at that desk. That's just my opinion. Thank you.

Great $ Timely Service

In person visits are great. Trying to get through on the phone is horrible. Twice I chose the option for a callback rather then staying on hold and never received a call back.

We need to be able to reach virtual rather than being number 76 on the queue. I've spent literally two dozen hours trying to reach virtual. 24 plus hours. One day I spent six hours on the phone. Unacceptable.

I liked that Reconstructive Orthopedics and Dr. McMillan had immediate action and solution to my knee pain. So it was helpful to be able to come in for an appointment and walk out with a solution or at least a plan of action.

The only negative about this practice can notvget in touch with them. Wait times on the phone are sometimes an hour or more! It's extremely frustrating! It happened 3 different times over the past few months.

I would trust Dr. McMillan with any procedure I would need to have. He's a great doctor and I really like him.

Waited over an hour and a half to be seen. I determined while in the waiting room there were two other patients that had the identical appointment time to see the same doctor I was. It's impossible to treat three patients during the same timeframe and not expect delays. What bothered me the most was the girls at the front desk gave me no heads up when checking in that there was such a delay. I sat there for almost 45 minutes before I overheard someone else saying how long they had been waiting. Poor customer service

I was told to schedule an appointment for a few weeks but there was nothing available for over a month. It has to be Dr. McMillan as he was the one that did my surgery.

In spite of my early arrival, I wasn't attended until 35 minutes past my appointment time.

I think it's important to the patient care and for their recovery, depending on the issue, that they deal with a doctor who has a personality that has no problem being familiar or caring with the patient. My sons as well as myself are familiar with Dr. McMillan, [REDACTED]. And I think that is imperative. I think it encourages people to keep their appointments. I think it encourages them to try and do better for themselves with whatever issues they might be having. And I have had a torn rotator cuff on the inside of the cuff. which is what was causing the pain in my arm.

I highly recommend Dr. McMillan, he was very enjoyable to deal and very professional, and his down to earth stylemafe me comfortable fr the beginning. Post op he explained that my injury and thus the repair was more complicated than expected but in the end my quicker than his expected timetable, confirmed he performed a careful operation on on my shoulder and suggested great aftercare.. The staff in his office, the nursing staff and the staff in reception were professional and very nice to deal with also. I was very pleased with the care I received at Virtua.

Dr. Mcmillan and staff were all pleasant. The doctor answered all my questions, explained what the future procedure would be and what the expected outcome was, including healing time.

He listen and he had great options for me. It was my first time going feeling hopeful.

Once I got through the "navigation"system (which took almost an hour and a half) to get an appointment... with me calling... and then them calling me back... and then calling back again, everything went smoothly from there.I am glad these navigators aren't steering my ship... I really miss the days when you could call a doctor's office directly and speak to a real person at a desk.

Dr McMillan is a credit to his profession. His surgical skills and post-op treatment and evaluation are top rate.

Thank you. I find it very difficult to get through to the doctor or to the navigator to make some comments and ask some questions. It is unbelievable to me that each time I call, even if it's 9 o'clock in the morning, that I'm number 62 in the queue. This is really unacceptable. Either you need to put a direct line to Dr. Sean Mcmillan or you need to get more navigators in order to handle the calls that come in. This is really not a good way to do business. Thank you for listening. Oh, also, I posed a question to the doctor about a procedure and that was three days ago and I have yet to receive a response. I find that to be unacceptable as well.

I been seeing Sean McMillan and his staff for a couple of years now . He has done a couple of surgeries on me for my hips . Great doctor very professional. Couldn't be any happier. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to go to him anytime.

I was very happy with the doctor and the resident. They both have time to listen to what was bothering me. I'm still in a lot of pain, but hopefully the suggestion that the doctor gave me about seeing a muscle manipulator will help me.
