Dr. Schumann's assistant seemed detached from his purpose. He spoke very quickly and mumbled. He was difficult to communicate with. The doctor himself was knowledgeable, professional, and communicative. I would certainly recommend him to others and would return to him should the need arise.

1st time seeing Dr S all was discussed an a plan set up for care

I went to Ortho Urgent Care after a terrible snow storm and was so grateful to be seen. My knee had filled with fluid and I was in enormous pain. Your physician drained the fluid and gave me a cortisone shot, all of which provided tremendous relief.

Dr. Schumann and his CSS, [Redacted], were both excellent and proficient. I was seen in a timely manner and was treated with the utmost professional courtesy. Sarah at front desk was excellent as well. She streamlined my care and made me a same day appointment with Dr. Schumann despite the state of emergency from the recent snow storm on 1/26/2026.

I brought up another issue with another body part and it was not addressed at my appointment. I guess I need to make yet another appointment to discuss that issue. Very upset that a patient's issues are not seen as a whole body issue.

I thought Dr. Schumann was just fine. I have absolutely no complaints about him. I had trouble with his assistant who I found not really responsive in that, you know, I'm coming to Dr. Schumann because I have an orthopedic injury and this young man kept walking very quickly ahead of me in the hallway and left me pretty far behind him and kept talking to me the whole time and I couldn't hear him. And I would say, say it again, say it again and he would call back over his shoulder with whatever he was trying to say to me and I just did not enjoy my time with him. So I think he could use some training in how to treat the orthopedic patients. But Dr. Schuman was great. Thanks.

Dr S listens to my concerns intently. He asks the right questions. He makes eye contact. He remembers my medical history. He explained my issue, told me how to care for it and set me up for PT appointments that have helped me in the past. A fine physican

The nurse/assistant named [REDACTED] talks too fast every time. He also lacks people skills. As for the the doctor, he is young and has no experience with my condition but was able to provide temporary relief and a plan going forward until surgery is necessary.

Great visit to desk with my left knee symptoms.

When I went to wait room for exrays I waited with a few other people. They were all taken before me. Then the room filled up with a group of other people and the X-ray techs started taking the second crowd so I thought maybe I didn't hear my name. So when I asked if I missed hearing my name. They said no. Then when I was taken back, my tech seemed a bit annoyed that I asked that. I treated her very nice and she softened. I appreciate all they did for me.

I appreciate the fact that the doctors keep on schedule and appointment times are met in a timely manner. There hasn't been a time that I've waited more than five minutes to be seen and I've never been there longer than an hour altogether x-rays and all.

I know I'm in good hands with everyone at Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics.

They went beyond to help me

Staff sent me to a lab miles away taking my own specimen sample, and the lab would not accept outside samples. Staff then disputed my claim. Upon checking found I was correct. Staff then required me to take the specimen to a hospital lab which required parking, walking, registration, waiting etc. I was dealing with serious mobility issues plus knee aspiration and the walking was difficult. I thought offices had couriers for lab pick up and delivery?

Everything that I was told that would be done to me was done in a timely manner. Everything was explained and all went according to plan.

The care provided was outstanding. Thank you !!!

The assistant working with Dr. Schumann walks really fast from the waiting room into the room that you're supposed to go to, and he talks really fast. He just needs to slow down a little bit.

Yeah, I think my provider, Tommy Schumann, should be calling my insurance company and telling them that I need the MRI and I need it immediately.

Dr. Schumann did a great job diagnosing my problem with my knee and in resolving the issue. He's actually taking this three or four times for me as the problem reoccurs. I have a lot of faith in Dr. Schumann.

Um, everybody was for the most part friendly. The doctor was excellent. However, the tech that took care of me and took me back there was, you know, a little bit rude, very just like, I don't feel like being here doing my job type of attitude.

Great experience with Dr. Schumann and his staff. As a follow up, my insurance has to approve a procedure. I received a call and message from someone in Dr. Schumann's office a day or 2 after my appointment. The message was to return the call, which I did, however I have heard nothing since. I've heard nothing concerning approval of the procedure either and it's becoming more necessary.

Everybody was very courteous, happy, very nice to me. They were very professional. They got me in on time. They got me out. They did what they had to do. And Dr. Schumann is just a seriously great doctor. I would trust him with anything. That's it.

Hi, I'd like to come back to virtual health. Dr. Schumann for my shoulder every three months because I always have that pain, that arthritis pain for the right shoulder and the left shoulder. So just want to let you know that my personal experience in Morristown was very good. Thanks.

you can improve by allowing your orthopedic doctor to see an individual with more than one problem. I had both a shoulder and a knee problem and he took care of the shoulder but said he could only do one body part per day and I'd have to make another appointment to come back for the knee. So you need to allow them to see a person with more than one body part in any given day. Thank you.

I like the Express Orthopedics

Dr. Schumann was great. He gave me a cortisone shot where it was needed. The physician assistant was rude. I have a foot injury and he rushed to the room. I could barely keep up with him. I also asked him if he could let my dad know what room I'm in when he arrived, and he had attitude about that request. When we got to the exam room he was mumbling stuff under his breathe and it just felt like he didn't want to be there. I didn't feel like he truly cared about me as a patient, or cared about how I was doing. He was just going through the motions and asking me the required questions.

After signing out the checkout sheet, I sat down to wait my turn, and the lady didn't bother to look at the sheet and took two people ahead of me until I spoke up and said something she did apologize though

A not so pleasurable procedure with an excellent outcome!

Experience was great, except for my initial phone call to make an appointment. The first time I called, I was caller #74. I waited until later in the day and called again. This time I was #34. I still waited over 50 minutes to speak to a scheduler. This is totally unacceptable!

My only feedback is about the reception area. There's a separate room for the Ortho Express. So I went through the door into there, and me and another person sat down and just kind of waited. There was nobody at the reception desk in there, but there wasn't exactly a sign saying that you should be checking in in the other reception desk for the main office. And then after sitting there for a couple minutes, somebody came through and was like, oh, you guys need to go out there. So just some better signage maybe door on days like that when you don't have somebody at their desk might be helpful. Thanks.

I was taken back to room in a short time. They did my x-rays quickly and Dr Schumann came in did ultra sound on my shoulder and gave the injection.It was a short visit.

I am a returning patient and have had extremely good treatment by RO doctors and staff! I'm happy to recommend RO to anyone needing Orthopedic care.

We had explored neurology, rheumatology, etc approaches to these particular shoulder region problems, but only the exactness and skills of Dr Schumann's work this week provided the immediate relief that my wife needed to reacquire her arm movements needed to enjoy her daily activities.

Service was excellent

Check out process needs to be looked at. The woman in front of me started to check out then left to go to the bathroom and husband couldn't answer the question with the wife. Held up other people waiting. Only one person doing the check out. I went to the young lady beside the person who was checking the other lady out asked he to check me out, that I was leaving because I didn't need follow up appt and didn't have orders or received anything. She was reluctant to help me but took my name on a sheet of paper. There were two people behind me waiting.

It felt like I was just a number. get them in and out as fast as possible.... will not return there again. gave me generic answers on my issue and set next appointment with no real diagnosis on what to do other than printed out exercise to do.

I was in severe pain and the staff got me in within 2 hours.

He came into the room already dismissing me and wondering why I was there. I had an MRI thru the ortho clinic due to my shoulder and how much pain I'm in bc of it and to find out what's wrong and how to fix it. He said there is nothing wrong. You can just go see this or that. He was not interested in me or my shoulder. I'm in excruciating pain in my shoulder and upper arm and I need to get help in resolving it. He was terrible.

Dr. checked for shoulder strength, but not for the mobility issue I am having. He gave me home exercises, which was helpful. Front reception was welcoming as well as checkout. Mark, the person who brought me back was terse and seemed in a hurry. He was rude and impatient on previous visits.
