Good experience

Provider did not listen to my or my child's concerns, repeatedly brought conversation back to emphasize symptoms that were not brought up as issues of concern. Medical history was clearly not fully understood even as brought up in appointment, repeated mistakes were made in repeating history back to me and my child. This made me feel like I was not being listened to even on something as simple as my child's medical history. Treatment plan provided addressed symptoms other than those that brought us to this provider, instead addressed symptoms that provider repeatedly returned conversation to after being told they were not of concern.

What can I say that I haven't already said in the past. Dr Dunn and his staff are excellent caregivers!! Dr Dunn has been my neurologist for the last 10 years or better. We have tried many different methods of treatment and they always seem to work a little better than the last treatment. He gets an Aplus in my book.

We had a nice experience at the doctor's office
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 12/19/2025
The provider did not do a proper evaluation on me. He only came in the room for about three minutes and did not, he just told me what my problem was and then left the room and did not let me even speak about my symptoms or what my concerns were. I did not feel listened to and I just left the appointment feeling distraught and not comfortable at all with this provider. Would not recommend this provider to anyone and I seen the reviews online that other people did not have very comfortable experiences with this provider as well. So I know that I'm not the only one. But yeah, that's really all I have to say.

I called everyday for a week to get an appt. No one ever answered the phone or returned my voicemail when I left one. I was forced to use online scheduling which I am not good at! After visit, office girl told me to wait up to a week for ins. authorization for my MRI. When I called back because I never got a call back with the authorization, I was then told I didn't need one because I have Medicare. So I wasted a week!!!! I'm upset!

Dr Dunn is very professional. He listened to my concerns and explained everything so that I understood what we were doing moving forward. I highly recommend him.
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 11/10/2025
Absolutely horrific!! No personal interest shown as a new patient for him. I had to initiate questions. No indication/review as to thoughts of course of action, or what is causing these seizures at all etc. It was like pulling teeth in reference to what was going on with my care/next steps. It was just here's an additional medication. No explanation at all! It was as if to say hey take some Tylenol along with the Motrin. The after summery notes indicated 12 mins were spent with me which was an out right lie. I was in and out in 5 minutes. One of the most absurdly encounters ever! And he's suppose to specialize in seizures, what a joke. Will be seeing if I can switch doctors bc his level of care is not worth putting my life in his hands.

Thank you all for such good service

I have never experienced a more inadequate medical appointment and will not be continuing with this provider. The three minute interaction felt as if we were going through a Google checklist. An utter waste of time and money. Now I understand why this provider was available and others, nearly all, were booked several months out.

Had an issue morning of, i was called and told my referral wasnt in the system, i knew 2 months prior it was put in. I had to return home to get the certification number i had written down, that was very frustrating. Even upon arrival with the number, i was being told it wasn't there. Another woman in the office began helping, understanding my frustrations, eventually she asked if the insurance was under me or spouse, it was spouse and they pulled it up.

Dr. Dunn never listened to my concerns or opinions I was having. He did nothing more than a DUI test. He dud not even look at the MRI that.was done nor even had the reports. To me he is incompetent as a Neurologist.

Visit was very brief and not much if any new information was provided or discussed thoroughly. In all honesty, the visit was a waste of my time and money. The provider seemed to rush me out of the office.

Dr. Timothy Dunn is a great doctor. Thanks.

The office staff never answer their phone at the office. Ive left messages on the appointment line and nobody calls me back. The place was vacant the whole time I was there and when I got home I had a question about pharmacies and called and nobody answered the phone or called me back. They told me they do not do virtual appointments anymore when the dr told me they do and he had one earlier in the day. The front office staff are rude and useless.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/15/2025
Dr. Dunn and his staff were really concerned about my reason for being there and listened to my statements that were made and made me feel really comfortable as if I was one of their patients for quite some time. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dunn and staff for the kind of care that I receive.

I was both shocked and relieved to find out if may have pseudodementia. So far, none of the recommended doctors have returned my calls. I may pursue a doctor within the Veterans Administration as I have in the past with therapy for my PTSD.

- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 8/6/2025
Office staff was very good. The doctor spent about 3 minutes with me, and said to come back in a year. Not exactly what I expected.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/20/2025
The only thing I have to say is that Dr. Dunn as well as the rest of the staff were just amazing. They actually listened to my child as well as myself and didn't just look at her as a teenager that problem took something or did something to cause her seizure. Dr. Dunn asked the right questions and I am very comfortable with the recommended testing. This team is just amazing! ???

I had an excellent experience with this healthcare provider. The most notable aspect of my visit was feeling truly heard - the provider demonstrated active listening skills and showed genuine attention to my concerns throughout our consultation. The support staff maintained a high level of attentiveness, creating a welcoming and professional environment. The efficiency of the practice was impressive, with minimal wait time that respected my schedule and time. Scheduling proved to be both accommodating and patient-centered. I was able to secure a timely appointment when I needed care, and the flexibility shown in arranging my follow-up appointment at a convenient time demonstrates their commitment to accessible healthcare. Overall, this practice excels in communication, efficiency, and patient convenience - the fundamental elements that make healthcare experiences positive and stress-free. I would recommend this provider to others seeking attentive, well-organized medical care.

This office is by far the best neurology center My family has ever been to. I would not change it.

Dr. Dunn is an excellent doctor. His staff is excellent. I couldn't ask for a better doctor if I wanted to. He's excellent.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/13/2025
The doctor and staff were great, very helpful and led me through the process. My only real issue was getting an appointment with Virtua Neurology. I was told by my referring physician to get an appointment quickly as my problem needed to be addressed sooner rather than later. I was unable to get an appointment until 5 weeks after the referral, the scheduler informed me it was because I was a new patient. That is completely unacceptable, what if I had undiagnosed brain tumor? What if my issue is some kind of progressive neurodegeneration? I should have been able to be seen quickly and the new patient issues could have been addressed at a later appointment.
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/8/2025
Virtua sent me to and recommended this physician as a MS Dr and he told me he didn't treat MS and I had to see someone else. Why was I sent to him. A total waste of my time and expense for Medicare and Aetna

The staff is very polite and they do their best to get the patients in. However, the actual neurologist, Tim, he wasn't, it seemed like he really wasn't listening to what I was saying. He was looking on the floor while I was talking. He didn't take my case very seriously. He just says, yep, I'll see you in three months and that's it. I'm just another case for him. I feel like I'm not going to get anywhere with cheating with him. Maybe my situation might be too complex for his expertise. It just seems like he just didn't care.
