Vincent W. Savarese, MD

Dr. Savarese is an outstanding doctor. I have no complaints about him whatsoever. One complaint I have about refilling my prescription. Nothing to do with Dr. Savarese. Whomever has been refilling my prescription of late has been getting the information wrong, repeatedly. I've been trying to get the correct medication for approximately a week, at least, and they are making the same mistakes over again. I've had to call my insurance company directly, speak and visit multiple pharmacies repeatedly and end up having to repeat the same cycles without my prescription. I am frustrated by this and I'm still waiting to get a call back from the responsible party. I'd like to get this matter resolved right away. Thank you!

It was wonderful seeing my MD instead of an NP to discuss my health concerns. This is why I don't have a Virtua Primary Care Dr because I wasn't seen by my Primary Dr, only NP's. I have found an out-of-network Dr for my Primary care. I have to pay extra for this Primary Dr but my health and wellbeing is worth it.

Seeing Dr Savarese is like spending time with a friend.

Dr. Savarese is so excellent in his patient care approach. He listens, he cares, he reviews, he pays attention, he connects the dots, and I think one of the ways that that shows up is that the patient's blood pressure doesn't rise, as it does with many patients when they first come in and sort of the white coats in the drone with quotes. His demeanor immediately makes the patient feel comfortable talking about things that are not necessarily comfortable and really getting to the heart of the matter. So I think that that's really something that he is exceptional at, in addition to being a very, very accomplished physician and endocrinologist. So thank you.

Friendly efficient staff and great doctor!

The medical staff was excellent. The front desk was not. I waited 10 minutes to check out only to learn the person was only able to check out pulmonary patients. Then, after moving to the next person behind the desk I encountered a slow, lazy incompetent woman. I stood in front of her for 5 minutes without acknowledgment. Then, after watching her try to schedule another appointment for 10 minutes, move to the printer and still not find whatever I was supposed to get I finally told her I would go home and call myself. She simply replied ok.

Service was great. Staff was very knowledgeable and already recommended to a friend.

Dr. Savarese and his staff are knowledgeable, caring, and professional. They treat you like family. The Moorestown facility is clean and well maintained.

Patient schedule should be the time the patient is scheduled should be as close as possible to the procedure that a patient will receive. So there needs to be more care given to the actual procedure in comparison with the time.

I was very disheartened when I arrived to the office no one greeted me. There was a group of 3-4 women talking. A young lady who was helping another patient check out had to ask someone to check me in. Another young lady asked me for my appointment time and then said I was checked in. She never asked for my name, DOB, id or insurance card. When I went to get her name off her badge, I noticed she was only wear the plastic badge holder. As someone who handles the medical billing for VMG, this does not help when id cards are not scanned or DOBI consents are not signed.

After moving to the much larger and busier Moorestown Virtua building, the wait time in the multi-doctor waiting area has been 20-25 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I have sometimes overheard complaints from other patients about this but it doesn't bother me. Dr. Savarese always calmly listens to my concerns, carefully reviews my bloodwork values, and discusses and explains in detail the continuing care plan we have agreed to follow. I have never felt my appointment was too rushed and I am always grateful that he takes the time he does to focus on my care rather than on the clock.
